Nielsen's Grove Park

Beautiful park that has lots of trees and paths for walking. Most paths are paved, including the one that goes all around the perimeter of the park, while others are gravel. There's a large expanse of grass that is great for dogs. There is a lovely flower garden during the growing seasons with low hedges and paths throughout.

There is a good size playground on the north end of the park. The playground has monkey bars, slides, and swings.

There is a pond for wild ducks and geese near to the playground, so be aware of that for children's safety. There are signs against feeding the wildlife, do head to another park if you want to feed ducks.

There are some pavilions with picnic tables on the north end of the park. They're are also picnic tables on the south end of the park, but they are not under any solid coverings.

There is a parking lot near the playground and flower garden which is accessible off Sandhill Drive to the west. The other parking lot is on the south end of the park.

I love coming to this park to walk, even in the winter months when it is less green. The paved paths have always been clear of snow when I've gone. My kids enjoy playing here, especially on the really tall spiral slide. We've come to play Pokemon Go here, too.

Amazing, big, well taken care of park! The whole place is just beautiful and is open to everyone.

Fun to walk the paths. Feeding the ducks was the highlight of our visit. Great play area. The circle swing was the best.

Love this park! #1 park to go feed ducks and it has countless other things to do as well! So many places to eat, play, relax, and enjoy the nice weather! They have a playground with slides and swingsets, tons of grass areas, places to have picnics, parties, and barbeques. Very pet friendly and has a ton of space to let your pup run around and lots of trails for walks and scooters/bikes. The baby ducks we saw today were the cutest! The duck pond is now filled after being drained for the winter! My daughter and I love this park and continue to go as much as we can throughout the year but even more now that it's nice weather. 💯 Recommend!!❤

They have 1 tennis court, but really nicely maintained. They do have like 6 pickleball courts, so when other locations are packed, we looked at this park and it had 4 courts available. Very well maintained.

What a gorgeous park! With long lines of columnar trees and a layout reminiscent of a Victorian-era European park, Nielsen's Grove will charm you. It's got a great playground, excellent restrooms, and a cute little pond. We will come back again for sure.

I appreciate that they have dog poop bags available every 25’ or so for you to use and plenty of trash cans. I love that they’ve put water back into the pool. It was so pretty seeing the fountain and ducks coming back. Hopefully more return!
There’s also a park for kids to play in and plenty of open grass and some small pavilions. I’m just a dog mom, not a human mom so I don’t use those amenities or pay a lot of attention to them

Beautiful park with a pond with lots of ducks, a playground, and little garden full of flowers. There's also large grassy fields for any dogs that like to play catch. The sidewalks are pretty wide, and the park's very well maintained. It's perfect for a morning or afternoon stroll.

It is a really beautiful spot to have a picnic and nap ❤ didn't have all the resources to really chill but the lawn is filled out and nice, no poop residue too in my spot. The civilized ambiance is scenic and peacefully serenading 😊so I totally recommend it for chill dates, families, to run, exercise, walk your talk or for just a simple breath of fresh air. The fake stream needs to be turned on though or be filled , annoying seeing it empty and it's so spring out🌼🌱

Massive park on the Western slope of Orem near the freeway and South of UVU. Walking paths, swims, water feature, and spacious grass to picnic it their around a football or Frisbee.

Wish they would turn on the water fountains there, and fill the reservoir for the ducks again. I understand water usage but think of the ducks. And the cute photo ops.

This park is amazing. It has a duck pond, museum, swings, fountains, pavilions, long walking trails, green houses, playground, flower beds, and so much more. I've been there for everything from receptions to races. Awesome park

The pond is dry..I assume it is filled during warmer months. This is a large park with a variety of sections to play and explore. Lots of trees. Its easy to find and get to by car, on foot, or transit.

Family, young adults, elderly in the mornings, couples, dogs.... All come here and it's very peaceful year round. The flowers are beautiful. Landscape team does a great job maintaining it. You will feel welcome here.

This place is great for any kind of event. Large pavilion for seating, several fountains and plenty of trees that are great for hammocks! Definitely worth the 45 minute drive to get here 😉 (Props to this place for keeping it clean enough for me to go around barefoot with no issues 👍)

I love this park is beautiful! It has very spacious green areas. It has a beautiful duck pond and the trees there are amazing. They have a fount in the south side. And they have a huge playground. Something that caught my attention was the herbal garden they have. I love the have a little path so you can walk trough it and see the different fliers and herbs they have.
They have great pavilions and the design of them are great. I love this park as you can see the best sunsets and the calmness you can feel is amazing.
We love to get together very often and walk, laugh and spend time with family and friends.
Last year i planned my son’s birthday party there and everyone was astonish by the beauty of this park. It is beautifully design.
Highly recommended for any occasion. I have seen that they use it too for wedding receptions.

This park is very beautiful. The walk around the paths is quite enjoyable. The pond is pretty and doesn't have a very strong smell to it. I was pleasantly surprised.

We took pictures on the north side of the park next to the pine trees. It’s a really nice looking park.

We just had a little picnic here but did not explore much. We'll have to come back because there was a play ground, some walking paths, and big fields that would be great for kids. Seems like it is well-maintained.

Nice park! The pond has lots of ducks who are very friendly. There is a post that says to not feed the ducks bread but they provide different ideas for food so come prepared! I didn't see dogs but lots of families.
