It's been a few years since I had visited Betta's Italian Oven. It used to be located in Mt Lookout, much closer to my office. We went there this evening after visiting someone at UC Hospital. What a great choice. My daughter had the chicken parmigiana, Gramma had the Eggplant parmigiana, and I had the Councilman's pizza. I had forgotten how excellent their pizza was. The Neapolitan crust was super thin and crispy. The cheese was great and the toppings fantastic. The others enjoyed their dishes. We had the amaretto cream cake and tiramisu for dessert. Highly recommend going to this restaurant. Service was fast and did was excellent.

Wow! I had the Italian Wedding soup and the pepperoni and spicy sausage with spicy marinara. I’ll be back soon, I loved it.

Amazing Italian sandwiches. I don't know how they make their bread so perfectly crisp and chewy. Love the hot relish, it really compliments the sandwich.

The beef sandwich was delicious and ample. The Greek salad was also bountiful and is in the fridge for tomorrow along with half of the sandwich. Put them on your regular list.

I love their food. I've already been here a handful of times. Small Italian neighborhood restaurant. The phyllo chicken is amazing, used to be on menu, now a weekend special. It was available during our weekday visit. Very good Chicken Parmesan. They are also well known for their pizza. Definitely will return.

Our family took a trip to Cincinnati in 2019 and came about this place by simple word of mouth while walking around. We came in, had an absolutely fantastic dinner (pizza was excellent, service was even better) and even spoke to owner Will for about 10 minutes as we were leaving - he treated us out-of-towners like we were regulars. We’re headed back to the area next month and will be stopping by again for another dinner.

One of our absolute FAVORITE places to go… for years!! Best wood fire pizza, sauce is delicious, lasagna is amazing and the chicken philo is a one of a kind!! I have never had a bad meal at this place!! Thank you to the Betta’s family for keeping it the real deal! Sorry for no photos.. my food is gone by the time I remember I want to leave a review.

Went with friends on a lazy, rainy Saturday night. It was my first time, but I will definitely be back. Shared a pizza for an appetizer and it was amazing. The entrees and meatball subs we had were great as well. Server was great as well refilling drinks and making sure everything was going well without being smothering.

This place rocks. Limited seating and usually a wait, but we'll worth the wait. I can't say I've had a bad experience here. Even when this place is super busy, the service isn't bad. Parking here leaves a little to be desired, but there are close street options that help with this. Pasta dishes are incredible, even simple meals like spaghetti is good here. The cheesecake is delicious. I love this place.

I could eat Betta's every day but I try to pace myself. Their pizza is a house favorite in our family. When I pick it up for takeout, I've been known to eat a slice on the 3 minute drive home. (I'm not allowed to pick it up that often). I always tell myself to mix it up and order things other than pizza and I sometimes do, the lasagna and subs are fantastic, but the pizza! Unlike anything else Cincinnati has to offer. They also have a killer fish sandwich.

The food here is absolutely divine and the staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. I wish I could give them more stars. It's kind of pricey food but certainly worth it if you can spare the cash. And ALWAYS get dessert. Their chocolate cake is an absolute masterpiece.

Definitely top 3 pizza joints in Cincinnati. All I have had here is the pizza so far. They always have Sinatra playing when I come in so that's phenomenal. Staff was great and informative and the cook is a true gentleman and expert.

Pizza crust is perfection. Crunchy and light. My favorite is Councilman's, but I have never been disappointed with a different choice. Pair it with a Mediterranean salad and then you can get the Tiramisu without a ton of guilt. It's delicious. Try the bruschetta too.

I've been coming here since they opened 15+ years ago. Neighborhood gem!! Everybody raves about the pizza, but I get a pasta dish every time since the homemade marina sauce is to die for. My husband also likes the hoagies and the tiramisu. The owner is Italian and trained by his momma who ran the original Betta's in Mt. Lookout Square, so the food is old-school wonderful. We love eating there and hope Betta's survives the pandemic, so we can enjoy dining in the restaurant again soon.

The place is well decorated and super cute, the staff was amicable and personable, and the pizza and pasta was excellent. My only complaint is I felt there was not enough cheese on my pizza, but the quality of the ingredients, and the quality of the crust more than made up for it.

One of the best kept secrets in Cincinnati. Small, cozy, great food and service! On point! Your Italian mom kind of eatery and cooking!

Great food and people! I love their pizza (all of them) and sandwiches, and they even go out of their way to make my food special for when I'm on crazy diets. And did you know they also have a coffee shop, where the guys know more about coffee than I thought humanly possible?

Awesome place... check them out! I'm there a few mornings a week for coffee and /or lunch so see me there stop and say hi :)

Bettas is an incredible family run business. The pizza is phenomenal and its fun to watch the pies bake in the woodfire oven. Will is a super stand up guy and a great owner. The bar is absolutely beautiful and fully stocked with some of the best bourbon you'll find in the city. Love this place, don't miss out!

Excellent meal. Great service. Nice to see a family restaurant survived these turbulent times. Look forward to a return trip. BTW, the replies to the stupid reviews are worth scrolling down to read.

We had salad and pizza. The pizza was delicious as advertised. The house salad dressing is the real deal. Should be offered as a dipping sauce and as a desert. We will definitely be returning! As often as possible!
