Nick and his team just completed a much needed refresh of our playroom/sunroom area. It's bright and inviting! Nick is an excellent communicator from start to finish. His team (Derek) was friendly and respectful. The work is top-notch, including clean up and re-installing assets (TV) with care. They even worked carefully around our sweet 7-year-old aquatic turtle since moves are tough on him. Highly recommend Nick and the team at Fairmount Painting.

Nick worked with us as we were considering different paint color options to help us visualize what it would look like. He helped us create a beautiful and relaxing space. This was my first time using Fairmount Painting. I was very pleased with owner Nick’s estimate which did not change when the job was completed. Chris and John were my crew and I only have wonderful praise for them. They were so kind, professional, hardworking and meticulous. They showed up every day and worked very hard all day. They were so careful with my dog and cat and made sure they were safe. I definitely plan to hire them for my next painting project in the near future. I give them my highest recommendation!!

Fairmount painting painted our kitchen island with lots of cabinets and drawers as well as repaired water damage in our great room and bedroom. They did an excellent job. They arrived on time each day, were quiet, incredibly clean, and very thoughtful in making sure they were out of our way. The work was outstanding especially with the walls where they matched multiple corners perfectly. The kitchen cabinets sparkle. no drips, no mess to clean up after they left. They are probably the best workmen we have ever had.

Working with Fairmount Painting has been wonderful -- from the start, the process has been easy, and they helped work through some difficult logistics (and my paint color indecision). The finished product--two bedrooms, kitchen, cabinets, and living room, looks amazing! I am planning on using Nick and his team for future projects.

I am a repeat customer with Fairmount Painting and had a great experience. We wanted our new kitchen, breakfast area and powder room painted before Thanksgiving. Nick was great about getting back to me to take a look at the project and draw up a contract. Timing of the project couldn't have worked out better. The guys started and finished on time, did excellent work and did a great job cleaning up each day. The experience was everything I expected from Fairmount Painting.

I recently had the exterior of my house painted by Fairmount Painting. It was a big job. Not only is the house 100+ years old, but we hadn’t had painting done for a while, and there was lots of prep work needed. This company was recommended to me by a neighbor, who had been very pleased by their work. The estimation process was smooth, and I was impressed by Nick’s attention to details. For example, he wanted to come in the house to examine my varnished side porch doors so he could decide whether to do them on site or back in the shop. He was the only one of the companies I had in to estimate that wanted to do this. Bullet points: 1. Timely. The job started when promised, and the painters (2-4 a day) arrived early in the morning and left late in the afternoon. 2. Excellent work ethic. Workers took few breaks, and scraped, sanded, prepped and painted nearly continuously. 3. Professional. They clearly took pride in their work, and frequently asked me to come and critique the day’s job. 4. Neat. Every day areas worked on were swept, vacuumed, and/or blown to leave my property tidy. 5. Value added. When prepping my deck, they unexpectedly found several rotted floorboards. I was dreading finding a general contractor on an instant basis to fix this, but Fairmount Painting removed the bad boards and installed new ones seamlessly. Additionally, they repaired multiple broken window sash cords, another unanticipated plus. 6. Receptive to constructive criticism. This is a particularly important topic for me. My job was a complicated 6+ week project. It’s unrealistic to expect every part of such an undertaking to go seamlessly. To me, the mark of an excellent contractor is not whether everything is perfect the first time around, but that everyone involved is focused on making sure that everything is perfect at the end of the job, and that both sides part smiling. Fairmount Painting gets an A+ in this category. 7. Personable. It was a pleasure to work with everyone associated with Fairmount Painting. There was an obvious team ethic, and workers clearly respected and enjoyed each other. It seems a little odd to say, but I miss seeing then every morning. Would I use them again? Absolutely! I have interior painting coming up, and they will be my first call. I recommend this company enthusiastically and unreservedly.

We highly recommend Fairmount Painting. They have a team of true craftsmen that bring new life into older homes. The crew of Chris, John, and Jesus are highly skilled professionals that are attentive to details. The owner Nick is very responsive and focused on customer satisfaction. It was a pleasure to work with the entire team. They overdelivered every step of the way. The project consisted of painting our exterior, staining the front door, and painting a high ceiling stairwell inside. We have 28 original wood windows that are 85 years old. They brought our windows back to life. Chris did an excellent job staining our gothic arch front door. Nick stepped in with much needed carpentry repairs on our bay window and trim, along with replacing 2 broken windowpanes. Can't recommend them enough.

Nick and his team were phenomenal. The paint job they did in my condo is absolutely beautiful. I couldn't believe how perfect they got it, and the only minor smudge I didn't like they came out and fixed the next day. Now it is TRULY perfect. The team was friendly and professional. They also did a great job with the clean-up. AND they got the job done when they said it would be done, which I really appreciated given the tight timeframe they had. I would definitely recommend Fairmount Painters to everyone.

Nick and his team at Fairmount Painting did a great job painting the exterior of our home. They were professional and took great care in making sure that the job was done well. They arrived on time every morning (by 7 am!) and even paused some of the loud work so I could take a conference call one day. They did a great job cleaning up after their work every day, too, vacuuming up the old paint and putting everything away. We've had so many people walk by our home since it has been painted and ask about who did the job -- it looks great now!

Fairmount Painting did an excellent job painting the exterior of our house, repairing exterior damaged wood and repairing water damage on the interior. Nick and crew are very professional and reliable and you can trust that they will do high quality work and complete the job as promised. We live in an old home with brick and stucco exterior with areas of inlaid wood. The wood repair and painting detail was done with a high level of quality and attention to detail. We will certainly call Nick again the next time we need work done on our house.

We have used Fairmount Painting to paint both the exterior and interior of the houses we've owned in Cleveland Heights, beginning with our first home in 2012. Nick and his crew do an amazing job prepping surfaces and making any necessary repairs to the walls and woodwork to ensure the final product looks crisp and clean and lasts for years to come. The painters are prompt, efficient, friendly, and professional—they arrive at 8 am and leave at 5 pm each day—and their workspace remains surprisingly clean and tidy throughout the project. We will continue using Nick and his crew for our painting needs—honestly, they've become like family—and cannot recommend Fairmount Painting enough.

We have had Fairmount Painting work at our house on three different occasions over the past five years. First, they painted our house; then they painted our detached garage (which had been badly damaged in a storm - needed to be re-built), and, most recently, an addition that we had built to expand our house.

Nick and his team did an AMAZING job transforming our house from blah to wow! His team was great at communicating what was happening and letting us know the process of having our house painted. We had heard great reviews of Fairmount Painting and I'm pleased to say that they lived up to the hype. Great communication with both Nick and Rick (the crew leader), great surface prep, great attention to details, and fantastic clean up at the end of every work day. They totally breathed fresh life into our little house and we couldn't be happier.

This is the best painting company we have ever used. Nick Cianciola is extremely easy to work with and his estimate was very accurate. He came by the house regularly as the work progressed and asked how we liked what had been competed to that point. The crew that did the work was very careful, always polite and when we were looking at the work asked if we were pleased. They made it clear that this was a high priority for them. They disturbed us as little as possible during the work and when they had to come inside, they always asked permission to do so. They were very nice people, and in several instances, discovered something that wasn’t quite right with the house, informed us of the situation and, when possible, offered to fix the problem. We are very pleased with the job. As I remarked to the crew and to Nick, on a scale of 1 to 10, I would rank them at 15.
