Had an awesome experience at car max! I drove all the way from Michigan just to get my new baby. Brian and Chimere was more than helpful, answered all my questions! Had my file prepped and ready when I walked in! A little delay but they were busy, so that’s understandable. I love my new fusion! I was in the market for a while and everyone in Michigan wanted me to put down at minimum 4k. Only put down 2k with car max on a 21k loan! High interest but with lower credit, I can’t complain, I’m in the process of rebuilding myself and Carmax gave me a chance.

P.s I’ll try not to speed in my new turbo charged fusion 🤣🤣🤣

The initial online offer was easy to obtain, and a healthy offer too! In person the process was pretty easy with the help of April. At the end, the actual offer equaled the online offer and I sold my car. It took about 90 minutes total.

The staff was very professional. Moreover, the in-person appraisal of my car was the same as that I received when I obtained an online appraisal from the CarMax website.

First, online instant offer was fast easy and the highest of 5 options I tried. Second, allowed time for me to consider and try personal sale for 7 days. Third, easy setup of appointment for in person assessment. Fourth, fast confirmation during my appointment of the initial offer (no bait and switch). And lastly, my customer specialist Dave Ashkettle was fast, knowledgeable, kind, and there was no pressure to buy a replacement vehicle linked to the sale, and after the assessment I had another 7 days to consider the offer (which I did not need to use). Had a 2012 Challenger SRT8 transferred from Georgia to Cleveland. It took exactly 2 weeks. I got the call the day after came in that it was ready to be sold and they went thru all the checks. I went down the next morning to look at it. I took a good look at it while parked, then took it for a test drive. Once we got back, we started the paperwork process. The entire process took from 9:30AM to 1:30PM. This included them washing the car and cleaning the inside. Since it was already for sale at a Carmax, that process was quick.The entire process was very easy. I dealt with Dave A. from the moment I called asking how the transfer works to when I walked out the door with key in hand. The process from him, to paying the down payment to paper work was fast and easy. It was nice not to get a line about how I need extended warranties etc like a normal dealer. Yes, there is no back and forth and their prices are what they are, but if its something you like, its the way to go. This 2012 looks like a new car with only a few small chips if you look real close.
