Gust Gallucci's Italian Foods

This is THE Italian grocery, bakery and hot food deli in the CLE. It has a robust wine department, a dedicated olive counter, and a wide selection of imported foods as well as their own branded foods. It is a smaller store that is easy to navigate, but it can get very crowded around the holidays and lunch hour. Gallucci’s is a Cleveland institution that dates back to the old Central Market (where Progressive Field now stands) and it is a must stop if you are shopping for authentic Italian imports or looking for an old school Italian grocery store.

Super friendly service - amazing selection of meats, cheeses, pastas, wines, bakery items… this list goes on! A true Italian grocery in midtown… worth the drive! We enjoyed take out and sat on the picnic tables outside on a perfect CLE summer day.

While on vacation for the weekend we visited Gallucci’s and were able to buy some northern Italian Montasio cheese. The staff was super friendly and made us feel welcome. They have a great selection of foods, cheeses and meats.

I had to go to Cleveland clinic not far from here and we stumbled on this GEM of a place. I enjoyed the BEST LASAGNA I have ever had. Sweetest people behind the counter serving the food, wonderful store up front!! Please don't ever change. I will be back

Love this place love my eggplant 🍆 sandwich thanks too the cook who makes my food I love him!! But some of the workers ain’t friendly too us! It was my daughters first time in there she loved the place & her sandwich but when she got her antipasto she said thank you the man just didn’t say anything too her walked in the back!

Love this place! The bakery and their pastas and Italian meats are all amazing. Get a hot Italian sub! So good!

Considered THE Italian market to shop for authentic food for decades. Wide selection of cheeses, meats, deserts, Italian specialties, spices, and more. Great prices on wine, too. They have a hot lunch counter weekdays that's a bargain (lasagna w salad and bread $7.50). Catering menu is also awesome, featuring lasagna and stuffed shells. Pick up frozen items for future dinners, too. They even have some tables outside to make an urban picnic feast!

Gallucci is literally the only Italian grocery store I have ever ventured to in Cleveland. You might ask why? Because it was the first one I found when I moved to Cleveland in 2008, and their selection, quality products and people are second to none...that's why.

Prepared food brought me in years ago for an amazing hot lunch. They have an excellent deli, bakery. Well stocked oils, seasoning, pasta and sauces. If you love Italian and Mediterranean food, this is heaven in a little market.

Greeted me when I first walked in the door and Thanked me at all counters for visiting. Great Food and customer service! Will visit again.

Gallucci's is one of my favorite places. They have a huge selection of cheese, wines, seasonings, and Italian staples.
Anytime I'm planning on making lots of Italian food, I swing by Gallucci's, because you can't beat them on price or quality.

You can't forget about the lunch and bakery counters! Lunch here starts at 11am, and you better be here early because they get really crowded at these two counters. I love the pizza, and they're meatballs are to die for.
Don't leave without a cannoli or cookie for the road!

The best lasagna in The Land (Cleveland). However, it doesn't stop there. They have a variety of offerings such as wines and canolis. It can get busy inside, but it is always worth the trip down.

Update. I spoke to management about this directly and they told me they were aware of the situation and looking to change it back. Great to know they were up to customer feedback. The store is a class act. 😌😁😚
I had a friend of mine pick me up some groceries and one of your usually delicious marinara pizzas 🍕. I say usually delicious because I have to be honest with you. When he came back with the pizza I was so shocked 😱and disappointed. It was so funny but very sad. There sat the most skimpiest pizza I have ever seen from your store. You must have changed things because they used to be a bit bigger and used to be in a vacuum package and the price was more manageable. So now, it seems you have made the pizza a lot smaller, you raised the price and the worst was you put it on a piece of cardboard and wrapped it in cellophane. Regretfully and sadly the cardboard dried out the pizza and the cellophane let to much air in that it caused the pizza to taste have an off taste. I threw the rest of it away. It was actually disgraceful that your establishment would put out such a skimpy little dried out pizza like that.

I am sure it has been said, this place SMELLS GREAT. When you open the door you are hungry. I often stop for deli, spices and oils; but the real attraction is the food. Stand in line it moves fast. Then drool.
I recommend the Italian muffuletto sandwich if they have it. Do not forget desert

I have been seeing their ads during Fox newscasts for quite awhile and the wife wanted to check the place out. Brought home some great meats, cheese and pesto ... along with some other goodies.
