Dr Thompson is fantastic! We have a very difficult dog that gets stressed out with anyone who is not her immediate family. The staff at Woodland vet is patient and caring for our dog, despite her attitude. They’re very accommodating and thorough with all the procedures she’s had to have and the staff takes the time to walk us through the medical and financial portion of each visit. We recommend visiting this office!

Love this vet clinic! Dr Thompson did my dogs nasal surgery and did a perfect job , and then today took my dog last minute to drain her hematoma. she took amazing care of my pups and the staff is so friendly and helpful! Thank you all again!

Cannot say enough great things about this group. They have been with us through 4 puppies and the loss of a senior dog. Very caring of pets and people. Excellent care and supportive of feeding and medicine choices.

Best vet around. Dr Rita Pencis couldn’t be more knowledgeable and nice along with the techs in the building. Everybody is friendly and willing to help we’re new to Woodland Vet but I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Strongly recommend them.

Every doctor there is fantastic. My dog recently had surgery and they were very thorough with explaining everything and took great care of my boy. Prices are great. My entire family takes their pets there and we all love them. We had to put our dog down in October and they made that process as seamless as possible and handled us with care. Thank you Woodland!

We have been bringing our pets here for several decades. Dr Pencis is our primary doctor and I simply can't say enough about how awesome she is. Takes time to get to know everyone, the animal, and makes sure you are comfortable with everything even during those "hard times". When she hasn't been available Dr. Knicely has been equally amazing with us. Sadly don't know Dr. Thompson well yet but the team here is top notch.

The Woodland Pet Hospital is top-notch! Dr. Rita Pencis is thorough and spends whatever time is needed to make sure all your worries/questions are taken care of. Everyone who works there are so kind.

Woodland Veterinary Hospital is probably the best group in our area. I drive 45 minutes to get there, and wouldn't consider going anywhere else. Everyone here is friendly and knowledgeable, the vets are wonderful, especially Dr. Pencis, and the hospital is very clean,. Our pets always love coming here....no stress while waiting as in some vet offices. They love Dr. Pencis.

I’ve been bringing my FeLV+ cat, Koshka, here for a few years and I couldn’t imagine trusting any other vet with her health. They’re consistently compassionate and thorough, incredibly fair with their prices given the quality of care, and they always make me feel more at ease with her health issues. The way they handle Koshka is with a lot more care than other vets I’d tried before. I know they’ll continue to be realistic yet empathetic with her prognosis, and I really couldn’t ask for more.

Dr. Knicely is the best vet I have ever been to. My Bernese Mountain Dog has horrible allergies, so that comes with lots of skin issues and ear infections etc. Dr. Knicely has always known exactly what to do with him and never tries to give him any unnecessary medications or treatments. There are some vets who are in it for the money, but Dr. Knicely genuinely loves dogs and I always feel like he treats him like he is his own. The staff is also extremely patient and helpful if I call with any concerns about my dog, it seems like the ladies at the front desk are exceptionally trained and knowledgeable about such a broad range of problems. Lots of tail wags when we walk up to the building also!

We have been coming here for years! My daughter brings her cat and sees Dr. Pencis, we bring our dogs and see Dr. Knicely. Everyone in the office, as well as the doctors, are super kind and involved with the pets and their owners. The prices are affordable, so that takes the sting out of visiting the vet! We wouldn't go anywhere else. Reading a bad review of Woodland is like being in the Twilight Zone. Thanks, Woodland Vet!

this was our third vet attempt after our dog was diagnosed with epilepsy. We immediately felt comfortable with Dr. Kniceley. It is clear he has the dog's best interests in mind and we are very happy to have found this veterinary hospital.

My great dane was having anal gland infection issues and I was told by another vet that he was just have to get surgery after multiple attempts with antibiotics and gland expressions. In addition my dog also suffered from skin infections and ear infections chronically. Dr. Pencis recommended taking my dog off ALL kibble because to her it seemed as though these were all just symptoms of chronic inflammation. I've been feeding my dog home cooked food with added vitamin supplements. WE HAVE NO ISSUES NOW!!!! His coat is shiny, his anal glands are no longer a problem, his ears have cleared up! I waited since August to make this post to see if it would really stick and this was truly the solution. It's been nearly 5 months now and my dog is doing soooo amazing! Thank you to Woodland Vet and Dr. Pencis for saving my dog from his ails, taking the time to root out the underlying problem, and quite frankly saving me a TON of money and dog mom worry having to put him through another surgery. :)

I’ve been going here for over ten years for all my animals. They are honest, fair, nice, and most importantly they know what they’re doing with animals. Dr. Pencis always remembers my animals too. I know I can ask her anything and get honest and professional advice. I trust Woodland 100%.

Friendly, knowledgeable staff! We've been taking both our dogs there since they were puppies.

Dr. Rita, with her able assistant, helped our beloved German Shepherd Dog, Tara, to move out of this world from her LOVE bed in the back of our Honda Element on a beautiful August sunny day. Tara, is she could talk, but she did talk with her body language and her eyes, you would have heard her plea that the time has come to move on.

They really care about the animals health and well being..as well as your pocket book. I am so grateful for the staff helping me get on a regiment for care of my animals which is so reasonable ....it just takes off so much stress amd my animals are better for it. Kind, caring, intelligent staff.
