Our contract required replacement of roof decking where needed, insertion of baffles, skylight removal and replacement, installation of bathroom exhaust vents, installation of soffit panels and fascia, removal and replacement of siding and cedar trim, installation of six inch gutters and guards, and a chimney wash.

Runyon and Sons Roofing provided a team of professionals to complete the project just as promised. They were polite and punctual.. They displayed a positive work attitude and ethic; and by all observations, enjoyed working together. They took every measure to protect our windows and property. At the end of the day, the property was swept for nails and all debris was removed. We couldn't be more pleased with the skill level of all workers associated with each specialty of the project.

We received professional, timely, and clear communications from the home office of arrival dates and times and prompt responses to our questions. In April 2023, Runyon & Sons Roofing removed the old cedar shingle roof from our 110+ year-old house and installed a new roof, including a new wooden underpinning for the new shingles. We are thoroughly pleased with the work they did and with the new roof. The work crew, under the direction of the crew chief Carlos, completed the project in nine workdays. We had expressed concerns before they started about protecting the gardens near the house into which the equipment might be placed and the removed shingles and other pieces of debris from the old roof might fall. The crew was extraordinarily conscientious and diligent in using huge tarps and other protective methods for protecting the garden and the driveway. They worked long and hard to complete the project within a two-week period during which the weather was cooperative, showing at all times great care and competence. Based on the work they did for us, both in the planning and the execution of the project, we would highly recommend Runyon to anyone planning a roof project.

We had Runyan and Sons do a huge project for us, new roof, new skylights and new gutters. The entire team was professional and kind throughout the entire project. Their service went way beyond our expectations, the project was done in a timely manner, and when something came up that needed extra attention, they were exceptional with advise and working out the issues. Insurance paid for whole roof replacement after a tree branch did some minor damage. We decided to replace all gutters and a skylight with some additional funds. Work was done with high quality.

Runyon and Sons service was great - representative came on time to provide an estimate, estimate was provided within a week and price was very reasonable, production team kept me informed about status of the project and installation date, crew came on time and did a great job with the installation. We haven't had much snow since then, but the deicing cables worked well on the snow that did fall since installation. I highly recommend Runyon and Sons for any roof work.

I installed 2 large skylights on my own 25 years ago and unknowingly flashed them incorrectly. About 10 years ago occasional leaks began to appear. I tried to seal them (ineffective at best) and the wooden frames began to rot. We decided to replace them and Runyon bubbled up as a Velux supplier. I evaluated their historical performance and scheduled an estimate. The salesman was a roofer and was very fair about what obviously needed to be fixed and what we might find when the tear off took place. I was comfortable with them and we gave them the job. When the crew showed up they protected the inside of the house as well as our landscaping and went to work. We wound up replacing some sheathing which they showed me before replacement, it was bad. The entire job was completed in a single day and I did not find so much as a nail or a scrap of paper at the job site when they left. I do most of my own work but I can say that it is truly worth the money to have a professional in for something like this. I’d recommend Runyon without hesitation.

Family owned and operated company that was extremely responsive to my needs. Due to the severe winds that came in our development - amplified by the lack of trees in the relative new development - our down spout was jarred loose and detached from the siding of the house. I was away on business and this needed to be fixed ASAP. I reached out to Todd at Runyon & Sons later in the day and he was able to get someone out there the very next morning. Excellent Service and even better Craftsmanship. So happy with the new roof!! The project went very quickly and smoothly, and I was plugged into what was happening on my roof each day via detailed photo site reports and on site correspondence. The Site Superintendent was excellent and the crew was very clean and orderly. If i could give more stars i would. A++++++ .

Experience couldn't have been better! After discovering problems with a 7-year old roof (!), Runyon came out and did what should have been done in the first place. Sales experience was great -- honest tiered pricing and none of the "let me call my manager and see what they can do if you sign a contract today" BS. No pressure and worked with us. Installers were thorough, took care of debris, and cleaned up perfectly. Would use again in a heartbeat.

Doug was my sales rep, but he did much more than that. He diagnosed that I needed some complicated repair work at my home and he made sure that the correct solution was put in place and that the work was done correctly. Jeremy and his coworker did the work at my house and were very professional and polite. Doug was extremely responsive and professional. Our house was struck by a falling tree. Runyon was on-site within hours of the first call. Short term repair was done and They continued to work with our insurance company on the repairs. Ultimately we decided to replace the entire roof. The team did an excellent job working in some less than optimal weather. We couldn’t be happier with the entire process and final result.
