Dave's Markets Turneytown

Was in the mood for something unique and knew just where to come. Dave's! Local chain store with alot of hidden history in Cleveland. Some years ago I had a hot dog stand and I would go to the old Payne Ave location to get Polish sausage. It didn't matter what time I came in the morning, I knew I could count on seeing that one person that never misses work, and it was none other than Burt, the owner!

There is no quit in this guy. He's answering phones, working the register for checkout, or just handling the day to day. For anybody striving to be an entrepreneur, this guy is the blueprint, and thats why I love coming here.

Decided to go with a new dish which was veggie lasagna. I used spinach, cauliflower rice, and spinach as my noodle base. Green peppers, onions, mushrooms, diced tomato, and meatless veggie crumbles. Definitely satisfied my lasagna craving, but without the feeling stuffed feel to it. Spent like $15, and worth every 💵

I love Dave's Markets to the point that, despite living in Canton, if I have cause to go to Cleveland, I'm stopping at Dave's. They have a great selection of interesting products, which can vary from store to store. In particular, they have an excellent selection of Latin American products, especially at Dave's Mercado. Their meat and deli sections are top notch, as is their produce. The only minor quibble I have is that the public restroom needed some attention, but I'm not taking stars off for that because that's not really why I go to a grocer and the building was otherwise clean.

This grocery store is really nice.. they have everything I need at a decent price... I am still looking for the King's Hawaiian bread that you can make personal pizza with... I want to try those so bad...

I was told about Dave's markets and I've been buying groceries ever since because I was tired of going to Walmart dealing with the crowds of people. I haven't gone to walmart to buy and groceries.

Staff helpful/friendly and I found everything I needed.

Always have a good experience, this time I went to hot foods. The youngest loved the maccorroni and cheese, that's really all he eats. While the oldest tried the shrimp for the first time and she really liked it. I got her the chicken wings just in case cause she loves them, but the shrimp worked out. The lady working back there was friendly, helpful, and very patient. We'll see you again

Little pricey on some things good deal on others just like every other store 😁

Prices are a little high but quality of food is awesome. I bought some oatmeal raisin cookies out the bakery and they were not good at all.

They were fast and delivered on time. Great job

Excellent grocery store!! I was just disappointed that the bakery was closed at 4pm, they still sell Birthday Cakes that are very expensive and you can't get anything written on them cause they're gone for the day. Some people do have to work and may need a pre-made cake for that evening or the following day. 🤔 Right, I could order ahead, but things do come up at the last minute. If you leave the cakes out, at least write something on them (Happy Birthday and/or Happy Anniversary) or have cake decorations near by where we can do it ourselves. Don't leave a big $22 or $28 "blank" cake out an expect for us to improvise after spending that amount of money.

Went to get my daughter sweets for her birthday, couldn't decide. The bakery rep helped me sort through some items & I ended up with the perfect birthday treat. T slices of cheesecake, with strawberries & whipped cream for $5.49. She loved it so much. So did my oldest daughter, they have since been back to get 2 additional slices each.....and one for myself 😊. Delicious

I will shop here from now on. Store fully stocked. Better than Giant Eagle & Marks at least to me.

Very, very nice store. Beautiful produce. Salad bar and deli offer lots of food choices. Very professional helpful staff. Bakery does a great job with special requests, call ahead. They have good weekly sales. Redbox movies can be rented. Floral department offers lots of beautiful plants , bouquets, balloons, etc.

Sea food selection is very good. Very fresh and apealing, hot foods very tasty and for on the go lunches it's ideal to grab it and head back to work still having time to eat it. Store is always very clean neat and. Well organized .I always enjoy my shopping visits.
