This is one of my favorite places to watch sunset on the lake but close to home.

Mentor beach park is a nice local park to take the grand kids to play or to look out at the lake to see how rough it is!

Beautiful afternoon in Cleveland

Beautiful little park right by Lake Erie - Very well kept up! Wonderful view of the lake. Lawns mowed, soccer field, a wonderful lake side pavilion. We saw an eagle perched in the trees by the water. Enjoyable little park to enjoy on a hot humid summer afternoon.

Very nice and serene. I sat on the adult swings and just looked at the lake. They also have a park for the kids. Literally down the street from the ice cream shop and convenience store. Even a nice little bar. All on one street. Also if you walk a little further up it's a snow cone place too. Such a lovely experience for the whole family

Great view of Lake Erie sunset

We sat on the bench swings at the edge of a cliff that leads to the lake below. Beautiful scenery of the lake. There is no beach left at all, just large bolders, the beach has eroded away. There were lots of sailboats out on the lake, it maybe regatta weekend at the yacht club.

Always come here to calm down my nerves. There is something in watching a ship passing by, the clouds, the sound of waves... Every sunset is perfect. Playground is super nice, and never crowded, so if you bring your kids to play, you may want to bring a friend as well. Sometimes there are dog owners playing with their adorable pets... Lots of funny busy squirrels, such a harmonious little beach park. People who come here often know and respect each other.

Very clean public space. My wife and I picked up lunch at a wing place and brought it to the park. Nice view of Lake Erie. Sturdy picnic tables and swings to enjoy. Nice little oasis in the middle of this chaos.

This is a wonderful park. My three and four year olds love coming here to play on the playground equipment. They like the monkey bars and the pole. Also there is a famous long slide on a hill that has been around since my wife, who grew up here, was a child. I love that there is an old tradition in the community of using wax paper to go down this slide. Strangers from the community are friendly and approachable at this park. Perhaps my favorite part is the view of Lake Erie. Spending time looking at the lake is good for your blood pressure. And don't forget to check out the sunset!

No beach but fun playground

Love this little Park! It's close to home and has a great View.

This park is located off 283, part of the scenic Ohio route. There is a playground for kids and an open field that you can run your dog at. Located above the lakeshore are some swing benches. It's the perfect place to watch boats and seadoos enjoying the lake. 🚤🌴🐟🐠

Great little park. It has a great lake view and a play ground for the kids. Didn't really notice a walking trail. My boys enjoyed the long slide.
