We love CVR! Dr. Laura Surovi and the entire staff are so incredible. My dog is a recent amputee due to cancer so we go in for the hydrotherapy pool and acupuncture. CVR has become his favorite place, and the staff have become his favorite people. I know that each visit Zeek is getting the best care. They truly go above and beyond in every aspect. We’re so thankful to have found them to help Zeek become the best version of his new self!

Dr. S and her team have been incredible to our 6 year old Goldendoodle who suffered a spinal injury in 2022. We do acupuncture and have done under water treadmill therapy as well. I know when we come she is in the best care and getting healthier with each session. Forever grateful.

We absolutely love Cleveland Vet Rehab. Dr. Surovi has truly saved our Daisy more ways than one. Our frenchie Daisy had to have emergency IVDD surgery and we just weren’t sure if she would be the same. Consistent visits have given us our girl back better than ever. Dr. Surovi identified an ortho issue with our dog too and we were able to get ahead of an issue for our dog because of her . We can’t recommend Cleveland Vet Rehab enough. They are family to us because they have given us our Daisy back, the furry heart of our family. I wish every pet had access to this amazing care

Dr. Surovi and her staff always take such great care of my pup, I know she’s in great hands any time we stop in for her acupuncture and laser therapy.
I will admit that I was a skeptic at first, but she has made such an improvement in her mobility since we started her treatment just a few weeks ago! She’s so happy to be going on walks and to play with her sister again.
I couldn’t be happier with the decision to continue taking her to CVR to get the relief she needs for her arthritis and mobility.

Had a great visit with Dr. Surovi and Hannah at Cleveland Veterinary Rehabilitation this morning! My dog Willow has been favoring her right rear leg occasionally, so I wanted to get a thorough exam done to make sure it wasn't anything serious. Both Hannah and Dr. Surovi were super patient with Willow when she got anxious while being examined. Willow laid down by the door, and Dr. Surovi crawled slowly over to her to do the exam there while I fed her treats. They did a gait analysis, which was super cool, and confirmed that Willow isn't bearing as much of her weight on her right rear leg. We did some shockwave therapy and we're going back in two weeks for a fresh gait analysis and we'll discuss next steps from there. I HIGHLY recommend paying them a visit if you're concerned your pup is in any pain. Their office feels like a cozy cabin and is really welcoming and calming. Willow is a ball of anxiety, especially at the vet, but this was her calmest medical-adjacent appointment ever!

Dr. Surovi and her team have helped 3 of my dogs improve the quality of their lives dramatically! Two had mobility issues and 1 cancer. The staff's dedication and attentiveness to their patients is remarkable. I am so thankful for the entire team at CVR. They each are miracle-workers! God bless them.

We're very happy with our experiences at CVR. The staff is very professional and caring. Hanna and Rachel are great with Abigail, very sweet and patient. Dr Surovi is extremely knowledgeable and thorough. She always gives us suggestions for improving Abby's life. Abigail is 15 years old and I believe her treatments have really helped her quality of life .

My collie boy is 10, and was having some back and leg issues. I was nervous about bringing him, but from the minute we walked in the door, they made us feel comfortable, relaxed and important. We continue with treatments twice a month and he is improving. They also listen to any concerns I have, and explain everything they are doing and why.

We met Dr Surovi about 5 years ago at Brightwood Veterinary Hospital with our new rescue Collie Pharaoh. He wasn’t the easiest patient to get along with but as time went by so did his apprehension about visiting the vet. Dr Surovi went on to pursue and broaden her professional breadth to include the field of Veterinary Rehabilitation. We went on and continued to use the services of Brightwood Veterinary Hospital. It was then that Pharaoh began to show symptoms that involved his hind legs. He was having trouble standing up and walking and and we were treating him with anti inflammatory medications which showed us significant improvement but after a while the symptoms returned. It was then that Dr Federer at Brightwood recommended CVR and Dr Surovi. We knew Dr Surovi and had read about her rehab facility so there was no hesitation on our part we called and set up an evaluation appointment. We literally had to have Pharaoh carried in to the facility, he was unable walk by this time and we had silently accepted that we might be at a point where a dreaded decision would need to be made. Dr Surovi recommended that we do some diagnostic procedures to attempt to pinpoint what was going on. After the radiology had been reviewed, we were able to rule out arthritis as a cause.
That left us with a potential spinal issue. Dr Surovi suggested that we consider a laser based therapy along with concurrent Acupuncture therapy. We agreed, having had a positive experience with an older Greyhound we were optimistic about her findings and excited to get started. The following week we returned to CVR with Pharaoh and began his therapy. The session went well and we returned home. Within two days Pharaoh was up and getting better. It lasted about three days. We returned for weekly treatments the second treatment went well. The improvement lasted 4 days. The next treatment went well as well and lasted for 5 days. So far so good!
Pharaoh is recovering and we owe it all to Dr Surovi and her staff Rachel and Hanna they are absolutely the best.

My 10 yr old Anatolian Shepherd has been receiving acupuncture and laser therapy for a torn ACL from Dr. Surovi for almost a year now. He LOVES going to his appointments as he gets lots of attention and peanut butter. Dr. Surovi and her staff are a Godsend ♥

Dr. Surovi won us over with her attitude and clinical knowledge. Our German Shepherd was having trouble getting up (we were having to use a towel as a sling), and no longer was getting on his couch to look out the window and was unable to navigate the stairs safely. She examined Onyx and recommended a combination of laser therapy/acupuncture along with some home massage techniques she demonstrated. Withing a couple of months he is back to about 95% of his old self. She truly cares about animals and will advocate for your pet by working with your primary veterinarian. When she has her new facility up and running, she will be able to do amazing things. I would recommend Cleveland Veterinary Rehabilitation without hesitation.

Our Nicholas is an 8-yr. old Bernese Mountain Dog / Golden Retriever mix, who we adopted from a rescue shelter in April of 2020. Nick had a singularly difficult life prior to reaching our home, having been abandoned, outside, several times before being rescued. Not long after he joined our family, Nick developed some lameness in his forelimbs which reduced his mobility, making navigating stairs and going on walks more difficult.
Dr. Surovi has been our veterinarian for all of our dogs, and we were pleased to learn that she had started Cleveland Veterinary Rehabilitation, which extends her practice to personalized home visits.
Dr. Surovi conducted a thorough assessment of Nick’s condition, discussed possibilities and expectations for improvement, and recommended a course of treatment. This included providing us with instructions for exercises and diet to help Nick improve mobility and recover lost muscle mass.
With medication and regular acupuncture treatment, Nick’s condition, comfort level, and overall mobility are much improved. With Dr. Surovi’s help, he’s become quite the active, playful, and happy pup!

Kyrie LOVES Dr. Surovi SO MUCH that the second he gets out of the car, he runs as fast as he can to the door, through the office and into the treatment room where he usually leaps right into her lap and open arms. He was having issues with his back, neck and right front leg and my regular vet couldn't really determine where the pain was originating. Dr Surovi started with chiropractic, massage, laser, and acupuncture and fixed him right up. She also showed me how to do stretches and massages at home to help in between treatments. Even tho' Kyrie appears to be back to 100%, we still visit her for maintenance adjustments. Kyrie enjoys the pampering (and treats!). I enjoy the conversation. I wish she could be our full time "traditional" vet, but I know the animals that really need her help need her to be devoted to rehab and pain management full time rather than worrying about "routine" vet care.

Dr. Laura is absolutely wonderful! From the moment I initially emailed her, she was extremely responsive. Having the best bedside manners ever for my kitty, Moki, Dr. Laura is very genuine, very caring, kind, and patient. Giving the patient and the patient’s mommy her undivided attention, she is just excellent!

My fur baby incurred a life-threatening illness, encephalitis, just within a month of me rescuing him. Anyone that knows me, knows I would do anything for my pets. Dr. Laura is currently performing acupuncture on Moki at our home, along with other things she is encouraging him to do. We cannot wait to schedule him to do hyperbaric oxygen chamber at her new facility. She is very thorough, and even provides detailed instructions for me to do at home with Moki. She has thought of so many things outside of the box that I would never even have thought of to think of to help my cat. He even eats his wet food on his own now...I've been syringe feeding it to him daily for almost a full year.

Dr. Laura's timeliness is impeccable, her appointments with us are always on time, and she always gets back to me in such a timely fashion. I honestly cannot say enough about this veterinarian, if I could give her a million star review, I would! We feel like we've also found a friend in her:)

I am very selective, and rarely write reviews. I want folks to know about Dr. Laura though. She is surely a keeper, whom I would definitely recommend, with my utmost highest regard. It is quite evident that she is passionate for what she does, and the love that she has for animals. If ever your pet needs any type of rehab, definitely meet with Dr. Laura, she surely goes the extra mile with her box of ideas:) We feel so blessed to have found Dr. Laura! We can't wait to see what Moki's progression will be, with continued treatment by Dr. Laura.

We have been seeing Dr Surovi both when she was mobile and at the new facility. Her staff is kind and patient with my pups. They use Fear Free techniques to help reduce stress during procedures. And the results have been amazing at helping my girls feel better and be more active!
