I found Genesis Hair Salon by chance when I desperately needed a long layers cut. My hair was dry/brittle with no shape. They cleaned, cut, and styled it so quickly at a great price. Great conversation and vibes at this place, I definitely found my new SoCal salon!

I have been cutting my own hair since the pandemic. I have wavy hair so I could hide most mistakes I made. My daughter is getting married soon and my hair was pretty chopped up so I made an appointment with Genesis. I was very nervous because I didn’t want to have a short hair style.

First, the minute you walk you are made to feel welcome. I was early for my appointment and I was offered water or coffee at least 4 times. I’m sorry I don’t remember the name of the young woman that washed my hair but she was super sweet. I explained what I wanted to Anita who actually cut my hair and she did exactly what I wanted. I can’t tell you how happy I am with my beautiful cut. If you’re looking for a great cut and super friendly people, you have to go to Genesis.

The women at Genesis Hair Salon were friendly and likeable in every way. Not only were they personable, funny, and welcoming, but they also knew exactly what I wanted my hair to look like after one glance at a picture. They made me feel confident and beautiful with the haircut but also through their words of encouragement and kindness. I would definitely come to see them again.

Alida is my hairdresser she always cuts, dyes my hair and does my highlights. Alida is the absolute best!! I always leave Genesis happy because I love how my hair looks♥ The environment is calm I usually bring a book to read. While Alida does my hair. Then they always offer water or coffee. That’s nice!! I’ve been a happy customer for 2 years😄. Thank you Alida!!

When one door close another opens. I have found my new salon home. Great vibes and staff is awesome. Thank you to my stylist who gave me exactly what I wanted.
