Green Acres Memorial Park & Mortuary

I am so thankful for the staff at Green Acres. They made everything so easy and convenient for my son as he was preparing to lay his father to rest. Ruth and Nancy were great! Everyone has such empathy and compassion. I cannot thank you all enough. We truly appreciate all of your help during our time of need. If I could give Ruth 100 stars I would. God Bless you all!!

Everytime I visit this Cemetery I am always impressed on how green and nice everything looks. It truly is Green Acres. It’s spring right now so there are lots of beautiful pops of color all throughout the park. This is truly an oasis in Bloomington.

Our experience was really comforting and genuine here at green acres, Nancy and Betty were really attentive to our needs and helped us with everyone question we had. They were super professional, accommodating and passionate about their work. We also worked with Erica S and nick they were so kind and involved every step also, Erica was on it helping me with our music for the viewing making sure everything was perfect for our brother and our families needs. Thank you so much for making my brothers final goodbye so beautiful, I know he’d appreciate all your guys hard work.

I am so grateful for the staff at Green Acres. After the passing of my father I have felt lost with everything that came after his passing. Emma and Hedith not only helped with making the transition easy but also helped us feel safe and heard in all what we wanted in the planning my dads services. My dad looked so handsome, thank you to the staff for treating my dad with the up most respect and for being patient with our family since we are a big bunch. They accommodated everyone, were very respectful, and were very helpful with any request. Thank you once again for making us feel safe knowing my dad was laid to rest at Green Acres.

I live in the East coast and had to do arrangements/paperwork over the phone/virtually and through email, and even despite the time difference, Ms. Gomez was able to assist me and take a big burden off. She kept me informed and up to date of everything by phone/email and always did it with the kindness that I will always appreciate.

The staff at Green Acres Mortuary was so accommodating and answered all of our questions and any need we had, they willingly met. I am so thankful for their services during our loss.

Green Acres was wonderful to me. It was my first time ever involved with setting up a funeral service for a loved one. Thank you for making it a little easier for me on going thru this. My Uncle will be missed but now He is resting now and with His Wife and Jesus

Words can not express how grateful we are with all of the staff at Green Acres. From the first time we went to our appointment Adriana was professional, understanding, and compassionate. She patiently explained step by step the whole process during our difficult time of our mother’s passing. Adriana and Marisol both respectfully always answered all of our questions and concerns. Marisol was on top of every single detail and went above and beyond for our services to go as planned. Thanks to the staff being very attentive and meeting our needs, the services were a beautiful experience despite the sadness of losing our mother. My experience is surely one to remember. Martha did an awesome job in coordinating and staying in contact throughout the entire process. My dads passing brought us by surprise due to COVID 19. I was devastated and overwhelmed with grief. We had a few hiccups such as the day before burial we hit some roots at the initial plot location. Martha immediately contacted me and went over and beyond to make sure I had nothing to worry about and she already had new locations for me that she knew I would be pleased with, and sent me photos right away. She honestly made the process for me a memorable one. I loved her professional outlook, and respectful condolences towards myself and my family. At the end of this process, I ended up purchasing more plots for my self and husband.

My family has had a great experience with Green Acres, they have treated us with respect and care. Martha helped us with my brothers services and she was amazing! She is now retired and unfortunately we had another loss in the family and she referred us to Nancy and Ruth, both just as amazing and caring as her! Thank you for your services

On the day of the service the staff was there for the family. When losing someone close to you in your life it’s an emotion time. Emma Gonzalez, Nancy and Scott were so kind and loving to us it made the process wonderful! The service could not have been more beautiful. The minister Eric was wonderful the ladies who greeted the guests were wonderful

I had already been through the process once, and found financially i was not ready, but this was something I really wanted to prepare for, so I decided to try again, and I was pleasantly pleased with the service I recieved. I was happy with the time Kimberly took with me and I did not feel any pressure to buy exactly what they had to offer. Kimberly explained the different packages and what would fit my needs. I was able to taylor a package to what I wanted, then when the contract was explained in detail, she added if I needed anything else I could give her a call. I left feeling comfortable knowing my funeral arrangements were in good hands. No one ever wants to face these end of life decisions, but I for one recommend doing it sooner than later and at a peaceful and non stressful time of your life. Thank you to Kimberly Sandoval and Green Acres Mortuary and Memorial Gardens for your sensitivity and taking your time with me.

We recently had my father’s funeral services at Green Acres and we were very impressed by everyone’s professionalism. Every single staff member was courteous, patient and supportive with helping us plan for the services. I strongly recommend that everyone look into starting to plan ahead of time as we will all eventually need services such as these. I am grateful that my parents planned in advance as it took much financial stress off of us kids and we were able to focus on planning on how to make my father’s services memorable.

I would highly recommend Green Acres, I have the pleasure of working with Marisol, during this difficult time in our lives, and she such a great help. She explained every thing to us step-by-step, the staff was friendly and attentive to all our needs.

When my husband past away unexpectedly I didn’t know where to start. Luckily I was able to contact the people at Green Acres and from the start Marissol and Adriana made it simple. I didn’t have to worry about coordinating anything other than making sure my husband had a beautiful service, the coordinators during the funeral and burial were attentive and respectful. I would recommend this over and over to anyone looking for a place to lay their love one to rest.
