Phoenix Food Boutique - Monterey Park

Ordered a Black Sticky Rice with Taro Mochi set. This came as a set of 3 and each mochi is quite large so it's good for sharing. The mochi exterior is nice and chewy with lots of coconut flakes that add sweetness and aroma. Located in a large living and shopping plaza. Right next to the AMC theater.

A nice little dessert cafe spot if you're in the mood for Chinese style dessert and quick meal. Seating is limited but manageable for parties of four.

6 yrs come back, everything seems the same, nothing changed to much, same items and same quality, durian mochi and durian noodles are their specialty and most try in my opinion only if you are durian fans. Great location and many branches.

I don't care what anybody says, this spot still slaps.
It's a major part of my college days; I spent a lot of time eating here and it's always been consistent. My go-to is the sliced rib with Korean sauce (drizzled with chili oil on the side) and a mixed fruits tapioca to drink.

We were going to another restaurant in the same center. The wait was over an hour, so we decided to try Phoenix. There was no wait to be seated, the staff was friendly, and the food was good and reasonably priced. We will go back again.

One of the go to place in LA for dessert after meal. Special favorite of red bean soup with the dried orange skin

Super nice service and quality! Love their durian wrap, super authentic and creamy~Also ordered honey komquart drink a bit too sweet for me but tastes great diluted, black sesame paste of great value. Definitely worth coming back!

We stopped in here after seeing a movie at the AMC nextdoor. Our dinner was incredibly delicious and the staff was very friendly and helpful in selecting our dishes. The food was very fresh and light and was the perfect post movie meal. The vibe is very casual and cool and our food was served VERY FAST! Thank you to everyone at Phoenix Food Boutique! Durian roll and mango roll are the best! Also purple yam and mango custard. Notice you would need a cooler to store it on the road if you want to eat it later. They provide reusable ice pack for 1 dollar as well.

We go for the coconut frui tapioca...it's delicious! And the coconut taro dessert is anothet one that we buy, can't go wrong with those if you like coconut like us.

Entree were good. Share the seafood shrimp noodles, shrimp r3ools and walnut shrimp with another person average about $40 bucks

Love this place. Affordable and delicious with traditional foods and drinks! One of a kind deserts, the mango roll is to die for!!!! Love it!!!
