AMR personnel have helped with the Josephine County Toys For Tots program in Josephine County for a number of years. They helped by helping Young Marines on the live toy collection day at Walgreen Drug Store and Bi-Mart. In addition they acted as escorts at the giveaway on two days in December that provided toys to over 2300 Josephine County children. Their efforts are appreciated very much.

Last Sat Morning I had a heart attack and was rushed to Medford. I want to thank the driver for getting me there quickly and especially to a paramedic name Doug that kept me alive along the way. You guys rock at what you do and I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Some of the AMR people that come to your house are really nice, but there are some bad eggs who are not. Have had a couple of lead men who ran the visit pretty badly. You can do protocol without being a bully and letting everyone know you have authority to do this or that! A little kindness goes a long way. There are some sweet hearts for AMR, but they need to give a course in human kindness to the tough as nails leaders who come to your house. Suggest more instruction on how to administer the IV for medication. Have had AMR people poke me 4 and 5 times really doing a job on my veins, where at the hospital it only took once or twice.

The medics were incredibly kind and helpful. They were very calm and gentle with me. The billing is not ethical. I have not received a bill I have called twice to American medical response the first time I updated my insurance information my address my phone number and my email because they were sending it to an address from 10 years ago. I called again today and they had all my information right but when they sent to bill my insurance, they sent it to the wrong insurance company because they had the wrong insurance name. It’s hard to understand The folks in the phone and they just want to get off the phone or transfer you somewhere Else.

You don’t want to ever owe them money! They will send you to collections if you are late 1 day making your payment and without notification or even a phone call to communicate. Now I understand why people refuse there services. Lord knows what happens to people who have no insurance to help cover any of the cost.

Having to deal with invoices sent 2 years late. Spent an unbelievable amount of time on the phone with AMR and my insurance company (that my employer no longer uses). Finally arranged a three way call and received a letter a couple weeks later with AMR apologizing, agreeing that the invoice was sent out past the "reasonable billing timeline" and AMR wrote off both invoices. Now it is 6 months later and I received an even older invoice! I started all over again today with phone calls to AMR 👎🏻

I was treated terribly while I was in the greatest pain of my life. I had a kidney stone and was told that "screaming wouldn't help" and I should just "breath through it." The EMT also stated my complaints incorrectly upon arrival at the hospital, stating I was presenting with an 8/10 pain scale in my upper back. I told her it was 10/10 in my lower back. My traumatic experience was made so much worse by them. I'm still in shock at how unsympathetic the EMTs were. How can somebody do that job and be that way?

I paid for my membership online through their website. I got confirmation I paid. It cleared my bank. They cancelled me saying they can’t find the pymt. even though I sent proof of payment along with proof it cleared my bank. I have called weekly for THREE MONTHS now with NO help. Because they lost my payment, they make it my problem and I have no coverage. I’ve tried everything.
