Acorn Hill Lake Home

I had a wonderful stay here a few years ago and returned last week, this time with more family. The same owners as before have kept the beautiful old house in great condition, with bathroom, furniture and other updates making it even more comfy. I could live on that huge screened-in porch overlooking the lake! We had most meals at the large porch table, but did an elegant dinner one evening in the dining room. Everyone slept well in the comfortable beds after campfires, hiking, boating, swimming & fishing. I want to go back! Thank you Acorn Hill!

Comfortable home in a beautiful setting. Close enough to walk to the town of Lake Tomahawk. Pleasant boat ride to Minocqua. Beautiful screened porch with wonderful Cedar table big enough for the whole family!

Our family of 4 stayed 3 nights in June! 5 stars all around! Acorn hill is conveniently located near lake tomohawk, a short drive to minocqoa, and unbelievably close to a public boat launch. We brought our own fishing boat but had more luck fishing off the dock! The house was well equipped, spacious, and the beds and pillows were so comfortable and cozy I actually peeked at the brand before I left! I would love to make this an annual trip!

Enjoyed an autumn weekend in this beautiful house. The view is amazing, and I could sit on the back porch looking at the lake for hours. The owners have added such thoughtful touches; for example, a built in potty seat for toddlers in the upstairs bathroom so parents with young children don't have to lug a potty chair around with them. Everything was clean and comfortable. Looking forward to returning soon!

We had an amazing family vacation at his gorgeous home on the lake. From swimming and boating to games and family dinners on the screen-porch with lake views, the amenities at this home kept our family busy the entire trip.

Best location on Lake Tomahawk, close to town but far enough from public launch for peace and quiet, great view of the lake from back porch and fire pit, new pier and boat availability, easy to watch kids from uptop, we'll be back with our family year-after-year!
