Baker Park

Nice park. Great for laying a blanket down and having lunch. There sounds is the water was relaxing. If you're lucky you can get an ice cream cone from the ice cream truck driving thru.

A pretty place. It has a sandy beach, too. When the river is down.
Conveniently located next to the river with boat landing. Fishing seems good.
Careful! Swimming is treacherous next to the water treatment plant.
Smooth looking water hides strong currents beneath. Life jackets advisable.

It's a great park for river fishing, I ended up catching a couple trout and nearly landed in a steelhead.

Looks like a decent place to launch some kayaks. Current is pretty fast.

Lots of challenging rocks, sand, and water to enjoy RCing. My whole family likes this spot very much.

Lovely little getaway just to clear your mind

Right now baker park is one of the urban campground locations for the homeless. However, the people camping there seem to keep to themselves. I know there are quite a few people who no longer use the boat ramp because they don't want to go down there due to the homeless. I haven't seen any of the people who stay down there approach anyone visiting or who are using the boat ramp. I don't feel anyone who might want to visit has anything to worry about.

I always enjoy being around a variety of different people and Bakers provides that experience, be mindful however of those around you that may not respect the value of safety and picking up after themselves. It doesn't take a mean tone to remind someone about a rivers' forces or to pick up. I would suggest more trash containers be spread out amongst the popular beach areas

Fishing is good, beautiful, cats have a home here along with ducks and a dead dear. Lol cool! During this time bundle up.

I've been going to Baker Park since I was 6 years old my mom use to take me there all the time I have lots of good memories with Baker it sure has changed from 1996 tho I'd say the people have changed in the 90s it use to be the spot to swim..

Baker park has a Porta potty that was upkept. There is also Community Officers that were patrolling the area . I felt safe I saw them helping the homeless people in need,

Small. Mostly a good place to get on the river with rafts. Adequate parking.

Loved this place. So quite it's Beautiful lots of wildlife. River doesn't seem to very high.lots of shade and plenty of Sun to. Great place for family picknicks, also good place to bring your pets as well.

Good place to launch a boat there's plenty of parking

I think it is really beautiful, parking, lots of shade, boat access, trails, easy to find. Good place for picnics, swim holes. There are lifejackets available for children.. I take my bike there often. Nice for meditation and exercise
