HuHot Mongolian Grill

This restaurant is amazing.
The food options are great, and the experience is incredibly unique.
When you arrive, you are seated at a table where you order your drinks before going to start making your meal. Then you go to build your dinner bowl. There is a large variety of meats, vegetables, and pastas to build your bowl. Next you put your sauces on. There is a sign that gives you different flavors and how to get those flavors from the sauces available. Once you have all that complete, you take it to the cooking wall where the cooks will put your bowl on a giant frying wheel and cook your dinner. It is rather enjoyable to watch. When it’s cooked, the cooks will hand your meal to you on a clean plate. To add to your delight (if you are such a person to enjoy this) there are additional seeds and other toppings you are welcome to put on your meal.
The building is decorated nicely, and the ambience is nice, no loud music. Business definitely picked up as the evening wore on, but it was never very crowded. I would definitely recommend this restaurant!

I have been here several times. Tonight, there was a small issue, but I notified my server and they were more than accommodating. They are such pleasant people working here and it really makes a nice environment to enjoy a meal in. I take one star off of the food rating because I really need help mixing the flavors of the sauces and I find that the guides they have posted aren't very accurate. My food is still coming out a little bit on the dry side. But I enjoy this place enough where I will be back several times and I will have more opportunities to find the perfect recipe! Hu hot used to be best place to go for great food! My 10 year old has loved this place since it opened. But last couple visits our food has been so burned! 1st time we spoke up because we had to keep going up to get new food. This time we didn’t and was just disappointed paying $50 for 3 burned meals. My first plate had crunchy noodles. So I went back up and 2nd time wasn’t as bad but the potatoes were not cooked.
This time they were out of some meats, out of broccoli, and I had to ask to refill the sauces.

Like I said we used to love this place but everytime we go now we are disappointed with burned or dry food (we use lots of sauce) my son said “maybe we shouldn’t come here for awhile” and this is his absolute favorite place.
I’m not sure if it’s the management or what…please don’t burn food anymore and keep up on refilling buffet items in future.

I go here quite a bit with my siblings and it's always so nice! Food is pretty filling, of course depending on how much you serve yourself. Even on busy days, they really do try their best to give you the best service they can! I definitely recommend goin here with peeps. For 15 bucks, it's definitely worth it.

I have loved & been going to HuHot for years but the one in Appleton, WI this was my 1st time at this location & I had a great experience as well as I got to used my birthday reward...& brought my boyfriend with me as it was his 1st time ever coming to HuHot & he loved it...he's been talking about it since lol so probably gonna have to be back very soon!

The food was delicious as always. The two people cooking did a great job and were very pleasant. Our waitress was attentive and friendly.

Awesome awesome service and food! Everyone was very friendly too. The food bar was clean and well kept up.

Love eating at this place! Too expensive, but they offer a subscription to get BOGO meals as well as other deals often, making it more affordable. I love that they have lots of recipes online, & a clear nutritional chart online, as well.

Stopped in for birthday lunch! And boy was the service fantastic!! We had Lori and she just made my day even more special with her bubbly smile. It was a pleasure and we’re definitely coming back!

We had one in the Kenosha area and loved it very much. This Saturday we are coming up to this particular location for my son‘s 18th birthday. It’s always been his favorite I’ve read the reviews that are posted and I’m certainly hoping that the area is clean tables are not greasy or sticky that managers wear hair net if they’re helping on the cooking line that the ingredients are clean, fresh and available and the staff is amazing, nobody likes going to celebrate a milestone in their life to be disappointed!!!!! I do have high hopes please show us what you’re made of. 🥰

Top notch. Have been to other locations throughout the state numerous times, and my wife and I agree this is the best managed location in the state.

The hostess was warm and welcoming. They had employees charged with keeping the bar area stocked and clean. The cooks were fast, efficient, and kept their area clean as well. For as busy as they were, there was barely any line for the grill as they really moved things along. Our waiter was efficient and on top of things.

Overall... the best experience I ever had at any HuHot. Keep up the awesome work!!

If I could give this more then 5 stars I would, this place is amazing, the food is great, the staff is great, very friendly with superb customer service, the prices are surprisingly very low for the quality of everything you get here. I honestly think they could charge a lot more for the exact same. Saturday night, all you can eat, pick out your food to be cooked in front of you, free refills on fountain drinks. It's very very clean. Great experience 100% will be back

Came here on a busy Saturday night. Service was on top of things, restocking dishes and ingredients. Manager was pitching in and helping out everywhere needed. They were also willing to give back to their community and gave a generous donation to my daughter’s sports team’s upcoming fundraiser!

By far and without a doubt the best casual dining spot. Make your meal exactly the way you. Food is always fresh, sauce selection means you'll never have the same thing twice. Servers were polite and fun and the guys on the grill are always the best. Super bummed that the one in Kenosha closed but this is a must after every Brewer game! Please God open more of these

You will find a new taste no matter how many times you go there. Two bowls with lots of noodles and pick your own food meat/veggies, I go for veggies and the food turns out delicious. Loved it
