ROOF 106

This was our favorite spot when we lived in Healdsburg. We chose to sit at the bar and received exceptional service from Liz, Alex, Jay and Jon. They were attentive, personable and created the best cocktails we’ve ever had. The pizza is excellent, right up their with authentic New Haven pizza. The menu changes with the seasons and only the freshest ingredients are used. The Best’s Bait was my go to drink but if you want something with some more flair then ask Alex and Jon for a drink with some fire and they’ll break out the blow torch and give you something you’ll tell all your friends about.

From start to finish the ambience and the service were amazing! We highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion. My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary and the staff were so accommodating. Our server, Shauna, was especially delightful. She was very attentive and timely with her service. The chef even came out and gave us a custom desert to help us celebrate! We will be back for many years to come!

The atmosphere was amazing. Indoor/outdoor with modern vibes and hint of 70's style. We got the chef's pick for $35 ea person and got sooo much for that! The corn was the best I've EVER had and the pizza was smoked mozzarella with Thai basil and pepperoni 🍕. Soo good. You gotta get their espresso martini too. It was on point!

If you are looking for a chill atmosphere to enjoy some delicious food and drinks while in Healdsburg then I'll suggest checking out Roof 106. We ordered a Caesar salad with crispy chicken. This is not your typical Caesar salad. It has so much flavor with each bite.
10oz Prime New York Steak with potatoes and some greens. Steak was tender and perfectly done. The greens, potatoes and avacado puree = fresh. For drinks we ordered the modern margarita. At first we thought it was water ha ha. The margarita was yummy with the perfect ratio blend.
The staff was pleasant to interact with.

Roof 106 is a no reservations dining & drinks destination on the top floor of the Matheson, which is chef owner Dustin Valette’s amazingly attentive to detail luxury hotel, restaurant, and wine bar complex in the heart of historic Healdsburg plaza.

Think you’ve seen it all just because you eat out at Michelin-stared spots in the City? Or landed a prime table at Manresa or Single Tread? Think again.

Here at Roof 106 you are in control. Order exactly what you want when you want how you want. I am ketogenically adapted & restrict my daily carbohydrates wherever possible. Chef Dustin makes that pretty easy with locally sourced ingredients from pasture & the sea. His wine selections are choice and the cocktails are pretty fine. Not as good as Pico Bar in Calistoga but impressive enough.

I even saved room for a bit of bread & panna cotta desert to share with my date. When the outdoor ambience is this nice, you can afford a slight indulgence every now and then.

Bravo to Chef Dustin & crew for creating the most romantic rooftop dining experience in all of Northern California.

One could always have a good unique cocktail in this place. John the bartender ( with ginger hair) is outstanding! Ready to be friendly, explain ingredients in a drink & overall a good mixologist. We have a great time Always!!

Friends and I popped in for some afternoon wine and snacks. It was a nice day, so all the nearby patio spots were packed. However we were able to get a table on the roof after getting wine down below. We got a pizza and some wings to munch on, and they were both delicious. Our server was friendly despite being busy. I would come back to try out more.

Hip but not stuffy, the rooftop at Roof 106 above The Matheson is one of my favorite spots in Healdsburg.

Whether you’re dining at an outdoor table with a view of the town Square, relaxing at one of the lounges with couch and fire, or drinking at the bar with one of the most beautiful air plant chandeliers I’ve ever seen you’re going to love roof 106.

Two quick personal favorites:
– The clarified margarita lives up to the hype. While I wish I could figure out how they get it so damn clear, it’s mysteries are always refreshing and worth the trip.
– I love pizza in virtually all its forms, but Roof 106’s stands apart. I haven’t tried the salmon pizza but people love it.

Go to Roof 106. Get a margarita. Get a pizza.
Be happy.

I won’t leave anything by 5 stars for a place this cool owned by locals, but do have some feedback: the cocktails were awesome and fairly priced. Food was super solid, though the cauliflower was a little undercooked. Service was efficient if not a bit sterile/not super warm/friendly, but still well above what’s become the norm. Atmosphere great. The one big gripe - we wanted the chef’s tasting menu, as we typically do most places that offer it - but what we were given cost less than the tasting menu price if we would’ve just picked those items separately. So that was a bit underwhelming. But otherwise a good experience.

Love this place. The staff is extremely nice and very welcoming. Food was a delicious and the ambiance is excellent. Highly recommend.

As an East Coaster turned CA transplant I am always on the hunt for the best pizza and holy moly I think I've found it. The crust is the best I've ever had. We ordered 3 and our favorite was the House Cured Pork Belly, along with multiple delicous and dangerous margaritas (wish the spicy was more much more spicy) . . . I'll be dreaming of there pizza until we visit again! 🍕🍕🍕

The atmosphere is amazing. Sitting on the rooftop of Healdsburg sipping a drink and enjoying snacks.
It's laid back enough to be comfortable after work. Great for hanging out with friends or going on a date. Fancy fine dining on the first floor relaxed bar atmosphere on the top floor. Open seating though, I do recommend reservations when possible.

The food and service is amazing and worth at least one visit just for that. Have yet to have a dish or drink that I am disappointed by.

Great spot for outdoor/outdoor undercover dining. Great drinks both alcoholic and non and great menu, if it sounds like something you’ll enjoy you definitely will!

My favourite cocktail in NorCal, the modern margarita is unreal. Will absolutely make the drive from Napa to get this cocktail any day. The host that sat us, really nice blonde girl, was the sweetest & she really elevated our experience :)

Awesome rooftop bar and restaurant. Love the atmosphere and cocktails. Great ambiance. Nice place for a date or to just hangout with friends. Wonderful spot, you can’t go wrong. Great service all around. No complaints whatsoever!!!

This place is such a vibe! The giant Mugnaini Wood Fired Pizza Oven and the gorgeous bar spills out to a rooftop lounge/ dining situation. Great views of the Plaza. The drinks and plates are all fun and contemporary. All locally sourced, and it’s got such a bustling feel.

Excellent food. Try the Chef’s tasting menu. You won’t be disappointed. Relaxed atmosphere with knowledgable staff.
