Korbel Winery

This was my second time visiting Korbel and both visits were wonderful. I did a tasting and tour during my first visit and it was very informative and interesting. Yesterday we just bought a bottle of champagne and took it outside to drink on the patio. We ordered a couple of sandwiches which were perfect parings with our champagne. Nice spot to chill outside for the afternoon. Will definitely be back!

Absolutely loved our first visit here today! We enjoyed a fun tour of the winery followed by a delicious tasting. The staff were incredibly friendly, personable, and knowledgable, which really enhanced our experience. We also enjoyed the beautiful outdoor space, which included heaters to keep us warm. Can’t wait to come back!

Korbel Winery is a wonderful multifaceted Winery in Northern California near Guerneville, a quaint town between Santa Rosa and the Pacific Coast.

Korbel Winery is beautifully landscaped, has a Delicatessen & Market where you can purchase a made to order meal and select a bottle of your favorite bubbly to go or you can enjoy your meal on the patio under the canopy of giant Redwoods, listening to local songbirds 🐦.

Korbel Winery also has a great tasting room, check out the wines 🍷 and champagne they have to offer. In addition, Korbel makes their own label Brandy.

You can stroll along the grounds, enjoying the giant Redwoods, flowers, landscaping, and even enjoy your lunch, snack, or champagne with your dog in their Pet Area.

They have a huge parking lot, so there's normally a place to park.

Do yourself a favor and check out Korbel Winery, you will not be disappointed!

Off the beaten path unless you’re going to Korbel or driving to the coast, this gem of a Deli & Market is not to be missed! Between the young and energetic staff, that is also helpful and motivated, as well as the nice outdoor sitting/dining area with heat lamps(!), we had a nice lunch and Champagne AND latte A-N-D pastries!! That’s how good this place is: Reasonable prices, excellent and fresh food, great service, and a nice location. Some may complain about River Road traffic noise, but we just had another glass of very inexpensive, but excellent, Champs to block the noise while enjoying the views of trees and vineyards across the road! Lots of families and a range of ages were all enjoying a nice experience with lunch and bevs. Check it out and thank me later LOL!

I’m not much of a champagne fan, but now that we live nearby we wanted to try it. Turns out it’s pretty awesome! The main building is beautifully done, though I’m sad to see a lot of the original hardwood floors were covered in diamond plate. The grounds are well maintained and attractive.

The champagnes are all very good. The tastings are reasonably priced, and even their pinot noir was excellent. We left with a couple bottles.

This place was awesome. The grounds and buildings are beautiful. Did the wine tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable and interesting to hear about the korbel Brothers.

Fun place to visit on a Sunday afternoon. We did the tour and wine tasting. Our guide was great and did a nice job as our host.

If you’re visiting Sonoma County, I would highly recommend visiting Korbel winery and doing the tour. You will learn history on the winery and region and also taste some fantastic wines. Stop in around lunch time and visit the deli!

I've been coming here for years, and it does not get old!

The prices are very low and the wines are very good! Be sure to try their port, brut rose, and pinot noir - you would find them in the store!

The tasting room is very spacious and accommodations people better than the previous smaller room by the food market.

I'm a member of this winery and highly recommend to everyone!

This is a perfect place to stop after hiking the Armstrong Redwoods. The tastings are free and you can sample varieties not found in stores. The tasting room has a great history (bars on the windows from the time of Prohibition!). Then treat yourself to lunch in their deli & store. I bought a great wine aerator in their gift shop too! Don’t miss it if your in the area 🍾🥂

We love Korbel ❤ this is a great outing for the whole family. We are club members here and like to come and sit and take in the views, get a bottle to share and some lunch from the deli and sit out on the deck. We highly recommend Korbel to anyone looking for a great wine country experience.

Great history. Very down to earth facility set amongst the redwoods. Many champagnes available here that are exclusive to this site.
The Rouge is a full red champagne unlike anything I’ve had.

This is a favorite stop between Santa Rosa and Jenner, the deli sandwiches are tasty. Enjoy the grounds too while exploring the 150 year old winery.

Super cute atmosphere nestled in the green landscape. We did the $10 All Bubbles tasting and it was totally worth it. Susanne was our amazing host. Of course, we ended up taking bottles of the all organic grape Brut & Rouge home. The deli was also delicious!!! We'll definitely be back!

2nd time’s a charm! Initially, we didn’t realize a reservation was required for Tasting. Thanks to Ashley, at the reception desk, we were able to sample the Sec and schedule a Tasting for the next day. Upon returning, we were greeted by Ashley and attended by Debbie, who did a GREAT job of sharing the history of the company & vineyards and samples of Korbel products (Thank you, girls!). The setting is subtly elegant and comfortable; the champagne even more so. Given the opportunity, don’t miss this one!

We had a fabulous day, our friend Raul and Wife invited us for a tour and some champagne tasting for our 25th wedding anniversary coming up in June, 2019. Felt like we were VIP guest due to the fact that our friend has been working in Korbel for 42 years... we decided to buy some of the finest champagne for our anniversary. Thanks to the great service and attention we received from the personal at the tasting room 😊

Great place, with good service from Desmond and others behind the tasting bar. We were there on a Tuesday and it was quiet, so it may be a different experience from others - but we were not strictly kept to our 4 tastings and we weren't pressured to buy.
We did buy a couple of bottles and had some good conversations, so we enjoyed the experience and the location.

We loved the tour - you can listen to the history of Korbel winery or make loads of photos, the cellars are very picturesque. Their HQ is a beautiful building from the XIX century and the story of the winery is fascinating indeed. It tells you not only about champagne, but also about the history of California.

First off this place is beautiful!!! We just happened to come up on it and wasn’t searching for it at all! The sparkling wines are incredible and so many you can only get here! Also, make sure to take the free tour and go have a bite to eat here as well. It’s so worth it!
