We seem to be coming to this park more and more often, and for good reason! The fact that this park has a larger playground for kinda to play on, as well as a smaller one and swings, make this park a go to for plenty of fun! With a large amount of space behind the park to run around and play, and also tons of walking paths to venture out on, it is going to be a great time coming to this park in the future!

Very nice piece of nature right in the residential area. I saw 3 turtles sunbathing last weekend. Several short walking trail, great for small kids or daily meditation walk.

I grew up bear here and love taking my daily walks when I can. It's a great place for kids to learn about nature and have fun.

Lived close by years ago and became a favorite place back then and found it is still beautiful today when on a recent walk. Many trails throughout, peaceful and rustic and larger than it originally appears.

Great, free park. Good for families, runners, hikers, or any get together (it has a lodge on site, overlooking the lagoon).

Great trail, stroller was no problem for the most part. If the Zoo is busy, you can bet on Jacobus Park! Fish, Turtles and Birds. #ILikeTurtles

A nice walk. Many stairs but you can do plenty of walking without climbing them.

The WPA-era lodge is a nice small place for showers, etc. We've rented it twice, for a daughter's wedding shower and another's baby shower

Nice park & short trail. Sadly the old trees keep falling the past couple weeks.

First time wondering in this park. Make sure you put on mosquito spray. The place is wonderful. It's a great place to lose some stress.

Great park right near the river. Love the playground for the kiddos. The elevation change and the biogeographic gradient is a nature lovers playground, stop and enjoy the diversity!

This little park is so whimsical and wondrous! There is a little for everyone. I've seen/heard great horned owls here many times.

I love this park. The two sections (side by side) make it easy to come with multiple children of different ages. My one year old plays on one side while my three year old plays with the bigger kids on the other side, which is suitable up to at least eight years old if not older. There's a sand box that's well kept and the wading pool is open afternoons 1-5. The park is well shaded so even on the hottest days it's a great way to get some fresh air.

I've been taking my son to Jacobus Park since he was a baby, and we still love it 8 years later. The swings are a highlight for him, along with the playgrounds. I loved that they have two separate playgrounds set up -- one for the big kids, and one for the little ones.

We've played soccer and baseball in the field behind the play area as well. I really enjoy walking the trails, especially when the seasons are changing. The shade provided by the trees are also very appreciated on the hot, summer days.

This is one of the many parks I grew up going too! I was very pleased to learn it hasn't changed much when I took my kids! It is in such a quiet area and usually doesn't get too crowded! Really the only thing I wish is that I could live closer to it. My kids loved the kiddie pool and the sand box the most!

Great place for a huge group gathering for a picnic. Wading pool for kids was great. Bathroom facilities were pretty nice, too! Grounds well kept. Lots of shade, too. Lots of space for games for all ages. Had fun and will go back.
