Pretty cool place. Went here for a knife that the website said was instock(limited quantities) here and at Cabela's. It was not. I tried to see if they had another knife, that I would like instead. The staff and store was so nice, that I had to give a 5 star rating. I ended up getting the one I wanted, from Amazon 2 days later.

I absolutely loved this Bass Pro. It has a spectacular view of the mountains coming outside the front door. Plus the interior decoration is pretty unique and some of the things they carry are because it's Alaska. And the staff was very polite and friendly to us out-of-towners.

These guys were so helpful, they helped us understand where to fish and what’s in season so that we could purchase the right gear to fish with. We spent quite a lot of time walking the store and finding everything we needed and it was clean, organized and they had everything we needed and more. The staff were super helpful and friendly. I highly recommend stopping in for any fishing or hunting gear.

I just had to share this...I drove all the way from the west side of town just to go buy some waders and boots that were on sale and wasn't expecting much else out of it but this store has some of the friendliest people working there. To the guy who greeted me by the waders, the lady who came up and helped with finding some boots to just the casual conversation by the Carhartt section. What a pleasant experience. Whatever the hiring process is, keep it up and give all the current associates a pat on the back or whatever for being that way. Would drive back again just for all that.

Even if you do not want to buy anything just look around inside. All of those decorative is so spectacular.

Love everything about Bass Pro. They offer military and first responder discount, the staff is always super helpful, the place way they decorate is amazing, and the prices are great. I love this place and can just walk around all day everyday.

Best deals in town on the 10x12ft tarp I needed. This store is stocked for Christmas. The toy gun to shoot mice with is a must have if you are going after the big game in the laundry room. Lots of parking.

The best place supplying everything before heading into the wood. The most recommend to stop by.

Beautiful store to walk through high-quality products trusted brands. There are a lot of workers everywhere so there’s help when needed but they don’t harass you as you browse through. They have the Santas workshop going on which is a lot of fun for kids. They have lots of sales every department has its own clearance area. All your fishing, hunting, camping, hiking, etc. gear that you could think of it’s here. There’s lots of fitting rooms.The fish tank is gorgeous stock filled us fish. There’s lots of areas to sit and enjoy the decorations its very cool. Theres lots of taxidermy work on display.

Perfect place for outdoors activities.
The decoration so nice like in all the BPS or Cabelas.
And we are in Alaska. 😉

Wendy in customer service is the bomb!!! She was a great help as I tried to find gifts for my favorite youtubers HomeFreeAlaska and LifewithLexxy. I had ordered snowboards from Macy's that never made it and Basspro had them in Anchorage. I called 6 times trying g to find stocked merchandise Wendy was just as pleasant on the 6th call as she was on the 1st time I called. Gold Star for Wendy for going above and beyond...

First time here and it is a really awesome place!! The aquarium and the super high ceilings with all the animals was really a cool thing to see! Plus we scored some awesome stuff and phenomenal clearance.
