My chihuahua 13 is having back problem and her pain med was making her inactive and drowsy. So we wanted a holistic treatment and was so pleased to connect with Dr Janie. She is wonderful, compassionate, and considerate with treating Sophie in the park. Sophie has 2 acupuncture treatments and is doing really really well and back to her usual active self. Thank you Dr Janie! We appreciate you.

Dr Janie was very kind and compassionate during one of the hardest times for us. She took the time to walk us through the process and ensured us Archer’s passing would be peaceful and painless. Dr Janie gave us plenty of time to grieve our sweet boy before removing his body, which was done in a very respectful manner. While I hope we don’t need her services for a long time, we will definitely call her again when that time comes.

Dr Janie was amazing. We lost our little guy last night and she put us at such ease through such a hard time. She was so gentle and understand of our time for us saying goodbye. Nobody wants to have to say goodbye to their best friend. If you have to do it though, using this at home service will make that sad day so much easier. Dr. Janie was very kind and very clear through the whole process. She was also very patient in giving us the time we needed to say good bye. What helped me the most was when she had us get a plate full of yummy human food to feed our dog. I know it helped her and really helped me to have happy memories up until the very end. I cannot thank Dr. Janie enough for all she did for us on that day.

As pleasant an experience as possible when losing a long time friend. She arrived at our home precisely as schedule. She was remarkably patient, and truly comforting to us, and also very concerned about our dog's comfort during every step of sending her home. She did not hurry, and she explained every step of the process ensuring we were prepared and ready. There was no discomfort for our dog at any point of dying, and that gave us some comfort that we made a right decision. When our dog was gone, Dr. Jannie allowed us as much time as we needed to say goodbye, and then she and her assistant used a pet stretcher to carry our pet to their car. When you are faced with the horrible decision to end your pet's suffering, I sincerely recommend At Home and At Peace. I am grateful that our dog was able to stay at home until the very end.

I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Janie. She is so helpful at such a hard time in peoples lives. She is very quick to respond which is what you want from someone when your pet is in pain and you are making one of the hardest decisions you will ever have to make. She is incredibly smart and compassionate to both you and your pet. She is gentle, patient , and responsive. She does everthing in her power to lessen the pain for everyone. Dr. Janie was a godsend. She made 100% sure that my cat, Flash, went peacefully without any pain. She explained everything to us and gave me all the time I needed to say goodbye to my friend. She was so gentle and kind to him and I appreciated that more than words can say. It was the hardest thing I've had to do but she provided comfort for me and my kitty during his passing. Making the decision to end your friend's suffering is difficult and heart breaking to say the least but nobody out there will be as amazing as Dr. Janie. She is truly a compassionate person. And I thank her for everything she did for my cat.

Dr. Janie was a very patient vet at a difficult time. She took time to explain everything(that we needed to know). It's an incredibly hard thing to do for me. It was great that Jasmine could be with everyone at home at the end. I loved that everything is explained with prices on her website, so that I could decide what I wanted before she arrived. I liked that I could text instead of call, took some of the sting out of making the call. She has a calming disposition and got us to talk about Jasmine and remember some of the silly, great times we had with her. I know I made the right decision in contacting her.

Though this was not an event which be considered enjoyable by any stretch of thought, Dr Janie showed an extreme amount of compassion and consideration for all involved. She was NOT in a hurry to do anything, wanted all to be sure this was the right decision for right now, many times offered the opportunity to stop. Knows how to talk with folks making one of the most difficult decisions about a 4 legged loved one.
Probably the best experience with Janie was she gave space and time to say goodbye, shared her personal experiences for why she does what she does.

If you are faced with the heart wrenching prospect of putting your pet to sleep, this is the way to do it. Dr. Janie was so respectful and so sweet with our Bishop. I'm so glad we contacted her. I can't think of a better way for Bishop to leave us than at home surrounded by those who loved him. As for practicality, I was happy to see her prices listed on her website and happy we could make the appointment over the internet instead of over the phone which would have been a sob-fest.

We couldn't have asked for a more peaceful and beautiful farewell for our girl. Dr. Janie is so calm and compassionate. She made an awful situation a little less painful! Thank you Dr. Janie for being there!

I can not thank Dr. Janie enough for coming out and helping my boy Sage in our most difficult hour. She was very compassionate and kind. She sent a lovely card with memories we had shared while comforting Sage as he passed and she even delivered his ashes back to me personally.

As a veterinary technician who routinely takes in special needs dogs, I have unfortunately participated in many euthanasias, both of my own dogs and clients. I always opt for at home euthanasia, but since my neck surgery in January I haven’t been working and didn’t have the option to do it myself this time. I researched many at home options, and though Dr. Janie was a little more expensive, it was worth every penny. She is very caring and compassionate.

Both my friend and I who were present are vet techs, and despite having the option to not have to explain in great detail the process, she did anyway. Nixon’s euthanasia was hands-down the most peaceful and happy euthanasia I have ever experienced. Dr. Janie’s main focus was to ensure that Nixon was happy. And the drug cocktail that she uses is far superior to what we use even at the ER and specialty hospitals. Nixon was able to have a nice nap, and be pain free for the first time in years before going to heaven. And she gave him plenty of time to enjoy his last nap and love before pushing the euthanasia solution. We never felt rushed at all and she was very respectful and clearly cared a great deal, despite never having met Nixon before his appointment yesterday. She saw my other dog’s reaction, asked if Lulu knew what was happening and when I told her that yes, she’s my sensitive soul, Dr. Janie started tearing up. I hope no one ever needs her euthanasia service, but if you do, I VERY highly recommend Dr. Janie and at home euthanasia if possible. It will be better for your kiddo, and easier for you to not have to be in public during such a difficult time.

Dr. Janie was wonderful. She spent time with Kacey and talking with us about our life together. She helped all of us find peace through out the process. Our family was lucky to have to her with us. Our memories of our Kacey will only be ones of joy and happiness partly due Dr. Janie’s care and compassion.

Dr. Janie did a fantastic job in making our cat calm and comfortable during his last moments. She was caring and compassionate and made a difficult time much more bearable.

Dr Janie made this entire experience as painfree as she could. She talked us through each step many times. She has this amazingly calm and kind mature to her. Yoshi went quickly, and is no longer in pain. Today was a rough day, and Dr Janie made it a little bit more bearable.

Dr. Janie was a guiding light through a terribly sad life moment. Our precious Pom, Paris, was declining rapidly. We called Dr. Janie Friday evening, and she was here Saturday afternoon. She explained each step of the process and took time to hear our stories about the life we built with Paris. I can’t think of a more compassionate person to complete this process. I greatly appreciated the fact that she made herself available to come to our home. I can’t imagine the stress (for both of us) of taking Paris into a clinic. Plus minimizing the people that saw us as blubbering messes was a plus. While I don’t wish this process on you, I hope you consider Dr. Janie if/when the time comes.
