Kimo's Maui

The food here was absolutely incredible. Pricey, but fresh and flavoured well! The fish was melt-in-your-mouth good. The hula pie was delicious. The staff was attentive and friendly to us. The view was also nice, overlooking the ocean. Would definitely go back here!

Amazing food. Amazing scenery. This place is an absolute must while on the island! We called ahead and made reservations for 4, and we're able to get right in on time. It is right on the beach, so you get a great view of the ocean! Make sure to bring some sunglasses if you go during sunset because that sun gets brutal as it sets in the evening. Best fish and chips I have ever had (honestly). Also, the hula pie is an absolute must-have for dessert. It most definitely lives up to the hype! Parking is best if you go to the free parking at the shopping center just north 2 block. It's an easy walk, and you can stop at a few gift shops along the way.

We had an excellent meal at Kimo’s . We both had fish dishes, which were delicious. We were there for the sunset, which was amazing. The views from the patio deck are terrific. They had two musicians playing for the sunset hour, which was charming! Our server was attentive and informative. I would highly recommend!

Every time my husband and I come here it's a win! Elegant dining and not too expensive. The ambiance is perfect for a romantic night out or an anytime occasion. The drinks are delicious and the service is five stars.

I really didn’t want to like this place because of how tourist it was but it’s well worth it. The deck is great, every table has a view, and the food was right on.

The fries could have used a couple more mins in the fryer but the burger was the best I’ve had in weeks. The fish was lacking in flavor a bit but you can’t beat the freshness of the islands. I know it isn’t very island-like or Hawaiian but you can find something for everyone on the menu. I recommend.

Outstanding service fresh, exciting food. Had a burger and a fish and chips and the hula pie. Sitting at the bar does not need a reservation and if you get there when they first open at 11:30 you get your choice to sit wherever you want! Highly recommend the hula pie dessert. It was invented here!

Such a cool restaurant with the best view. Ate lunch here on our visit here recently. Food and drinks were both amazing. Service was fast. I had the crab and shrimp salad the dressing was amazing. My husband had the burger and he ate the whole thing.

This was a lovely restaurant with great sunsets and the tastiest (for me) coconut shrimp on the island. The food is delicious, the servers were extremely friendly and the scenery was the best. I recommend visiting this restaurant if you can make a reservation (drop in would likely be impossible due to the popularity.) we had a great time.

One day, I hope to meet Kimo... his prime rib is some of the best I've had. Twenty four ounces of pure meat magic! The horseradish sour cream was perfectly blended and paired perfectly. The waiter was fantastic and very friendly. Everything we ordered during our visit was very tasty! The signature drinks were on point as well. My only complaint is that I didn't leave room for dessert. Don't shy away from the menu prices...The quality is definitely present here to account for it plus you're on the water's edge while dining.

I had the butter leaf pork tacos in the pupus (appetizers), which were great. The plum bbq is fantastic. I was also able to the mango pono pie... fantastic as well.

I have a dairy allergy, so getting a dessert is a rarity for me. Excellent.

Great place with a very good vibe and extremely professional staff. The food is delicious and well prepared. Reasonably priced.

Would recommend visiting during sunset to enjoy the most of the beach view they have.

The fish tacos are exceptional, maybe the best I've had. Paired with a draft craft beer IPA made it even better. The Kimo's Baked fish with rice and macaroni salad was also excellent. And to top it off the Hula Pie was super yummy too. The hostess who seated us and our server were friendly and professional. Truly a 5 star experience.

We actually came here as a backup. Since it was fall break for school kids the place we intended to go was closed. We were so glad we came here!
There was a long wait, maybe about an hour or so. We were able to get drinks at the bar and sit at a large bench ( 4 of us) once seats were available at the bar, we sat and got more drinks and appetizers. Thee was live music and was very good so made the time pass pretty quick. Before we knew it out table was ready. They took great care of us and got our order quickly since we already had drinks.
It was dark out so we couldn’t really take advantage of the view, but if you can get in before the sun sets, it would be amazing on the patio overlooking the water..

Highly recommend! Not only did all the locals recommend this place but now I do! I had a daily special of fresh Monchong and absolutely loved it. The atmosphere, the staff, the service, the food, all so fantastic. Thank you for making night ones dinner so special!

Awesome restaurant right on the ocean with the best sunset view I have seen. Amazing food and drinks. We got the Lobster Topped Mahi Mahi and it was incredible. Really fun cocktails. I recommend the “Island Itch” i think its called. It can be hard to get a reservation that is at sunset. I lucked out and got a table at about 5:45 - perfect for sunset. If I knew I would have made reservations days ahead. Parking can be tough too but this place is a MUST GO.

Came here for the hula pie and hula pie only. Flawless scenery, down to earth vibe, great service.

Not only was it an exceptional dessert, the waiter was so excited that we were trying it for the first time. So sweet. She gave us a quick history lesson & gave us a coupon to eat the same dessert for free next time (with an order of 2 entrees, no expiration date). You bet we’ll be back!

Reservations are a must! Beautiful views and great atmosphere. The service was great and so was the food. Our waitress was very attentive and checked in on us several times. I overheard an elderly couple celebrating a birthday saying this was their go to spot each year, which shows how great this place is!!

Pride is taken in every dish prepared. Due to my food allergies, some altercations had to be done for me to have a meal here. The staff was very nice and willing to help me find something to eat. When the chef prepared my meal, it did not sacrifice flavor or texture and was the same quality as their other dishes. Lots of consistency throughout each dish and the food is very, very good.

The wait staff is very nice and patient. They don't rush you to make a decision even if its busy. You also won't get forgotten about here either.

Overall the food is great and the service is just as good too. I recommend eating here. Make a reservation and try it. You will have a great evening.

Beautiful views. Great food. They started us with carrot cake muffin things, that I honestly could've eaten all night. Next we had the seafood chowder, which was rich, fresh and delicious. I got the fish and chips, which was lightly battered and perfectly fried. We would definitely go back. Highly recommend. Get reservations!

Kimo's was a great experience! The fresh parmesan crusted monchong was fantastic as well as the prime rib cooked to perfection. We also had the macadamia nut calamari as an appetizer and it too was amazing. Amanda, our server, was the best server we've ever had! She was so attentive and kind without being overbearing. The view and the location was beautiful. Oh, and the Hulu pie was awesome! will definitely be back.
