WOW the Natty Oaks Christmas decorations are amazing! It should be enough of a reason to stop by! We stopped in on a Saturday night to celebrate my dad's birthday, we had a short wait so in the meantime we got drinks and visited the speakeasy.

The menu has a good selection of your standard bar food, and everything we saw come out looked delicious. We enjoyed some cheese curds and deep fried mushrooms to start, and most got a burger for their dinner. I got the philly cheesesteak, it was a great amount of filling to bread ratio and very good. The homemade chips were also a star. The portion sizes were a good size and I enjoyed that every dish came with a cookie!

I would like to come back to try some of the other things on the menu and see how it transforms for the summer or other fun events!

What a wonderful time! We had the pleasure of trying out this bar after seeing the cool vans parked on the street for the Brewers games. We went in for a drink, which tasted AMAZING. I had one of the drinks of the month, that my beer loving partner drank most of.
The bus drivers waited for us to pay our bill before leaving, and made sure we had a number if we needed it.

Wonderful staff, and we will be back for food and more drinks in the future. Consider making Nattys your home for the future too!!

We went to the Natty Oaks Lounge for my husband's birthday party. It was amazing! There is a huge selection of whiskey and other cocktails along with fun games like large jinga. We are definitely going to be going back!

Been going to Natty Oaks for a couple years. Each and every visit is always excellent. The service, food, and Bartenders are great. Our last visit, Bartender Yaphay had a full bar, and easily served everyone right away. He is exceptional at his job. We'll be back soon.

We just had the best experience in the Santa Chalet! With a family of 5 kids it is always hard to get a good picture with Santa and their environment was so welcoming and Santa was amazing with the kids! Staff was amazing and so attentive. Food was great with gluten free options and pretzels for the kids were perfect! Highly recommend!

We did a Santa Chalet with our family last night. Well worth the $$ and we just had the best time. Every staff member we interacted with was delightful and Santa could not have been more sweet and engaging with our kids. The food and drinks were great as well.

This was the first time here and I had a great experience the staff was friendly the food was fat and hot.price was just right. You could bring the kids here there is a kids menu. Fun environment very clean. I will be a return customer.

The Buffalo chicken rolls are the best appetizers we have ever had. Absolutely delicious.

My wife and I like this place and visit fairly often. The food and service are always good and they have a really interesting, rotating selection of craft beers.

However, if there was one thing that I would change about Natty Oaks it would be to lower the volume of background music, which is often just TOO loud - way more that is needed to drown out neighboring conversations. I have some
hearing issues, as do many people my age, and trying to coverse over loud music is really unpleasant. On at least two occasions, I politely asked to have the volume lowered, which was done somewhat reluctantly. On one other occasion, as soon as we walked in and heard the din, we just turned around and went somewhere else.

Great food. Drinks are worth every penny. Fun place to watch a game. Bourbon bar in the basement. Love it

Saturday July 20th my wife (self proclaimed wing connoisseur) and I finally made it to Natty Oaks in West Allis.

We've always heard good things about their wings, but didn't fully believe it. Either way we had to add it to our list of finding the "best wings" in Milwaukee. Only took us 8 months to finally get here.
Mind you we've been on this journey for 15+ years trying every wing we can find in Wisconsin and in our travels.

As we entered we noticed on the 21st (today) they're hosting a benefit for a fallen police officer, have to respect that, good first impressions.

Two nice outdoor patios one being dog friendly. Inside is clean, music at a good level and friendly bartenders. We were greeted promptly and attended to as expected.

We ordered 2 dozen wings (crispy). Buffalo Ranch, Mango Habanero, Thai Chili, and Bourbon Glaze with blue cheese and ranch.
We debated the Horseradish Peppercorn, and decided to pass. However, we did get a sample and will be back for it, "the Wife" said she would slather it on a Prime Rib it was so good.

After a beverage or two the wings came out, prepared as we would expect, not over sauced, crispy, carrots/celery and a chunky blue cheese.

A few bites in, a look of enjoyment was on my wife's face, you know you have a top notch wing when you make her happy.

Sauces were spot on, excellent flavor and not over powering, making them well balanced.

The style of wing I would say is medium, traditional, non-breaded, non-salt injected, fresh (not frozen) fried/grilled wing.

They were cooked all the way through, maybe even grilled a little bit, could tell they added seasoning during preparation for some additional layers of flavor.
Even asking for them to be crispy the chicken was juicy, and the skin had a good crisp/snap to it.

Overall - We enjoyed our time, beverages, conversation, and wings at Natty Oaks.

My wife's scores were a little higher than mine, which to both of our surprises moved Natty Oaks into first place, moving Jonny Hammers to 2nd, Tomkens and Club Garibaldi (currently tied) to 3rd, and all the rest down another slot.

Please note, with this ranking we will be back multiple times to make sure the ranking, quality and flavors are consistent.

I would have enjoyed the Mango Habanero a little more if it was hotter, but I do realize the scoville units fluctuate by season.

Great job Natty Oaks, we will be seeing you again.

Have been going there for a couple years. Great outside venue and inside old school Milwaukee bar type atmosphere. Excellent food with Natalie’s wings being our favorite. Service is exceptional. A West Allis Gem… make sure you stop!
