The Copper Mug - A Bar with Great Food

I came back home for a visit, and the Copper Mug is always a must stop. I havent been in town for almost three years. Stopped in for an early dinner and a beer, and they did not disappoint. So many things have changed, and it was very refreshing that the only changes they've made have been for the better. The food is top notch and not even close to your typical bar food. They could open a restaurant with the quality of food the put out. The service, granted it was quiet, was on par. So if you're in southern Oregon or passing through Grants Pass put The Copper Mug on your list of stops.

Great food and drinks! Nice music playing. Jay was our server and his service was fantastic. and Cody was the cook and our food came out delicious. Would definitely return.

As a Karaoke regular I seam to come for the reasonably priced, and pretty bomb, Cocktails as well as the rotating taps that Cody keeps up to date here about every week or so...However here I am on a Sunday, with a Smash burger for the ages.. when the say "A bar with great food" they're not pulling your leg.. Easy going crowds Sunday thru Wednesday from what I've seen.. and pretty packed the rest of the weekend. If you haven't been.. or haven't eaten here... Do yourself a solid!

Stopped by for a bite to eat. Great staff! Friendly atmosphere and amazing drinks. Topped off with a Philly cheesestrak that was way better than I had expected! The pretzel roll bun and peppers set it off! My apologies for no pictures of the food that I scarfed down immediately! Definitely going to become one of my regular spots!

DeMaura (Dee) makes this place an enjoyable judgement free zone and everything she cooks is amazing (Zen rocks the kitchen too) her specialty drinks are off the hook (frozen lemonades many flavors) not to mention her smile and personality are something to look forward to especially if you are having an off day. She really makes this place fun. Mouton has a great personality as well. 2 great bartenders makes this place somewhere that I will definitely return to. They have 3 pool tables, giant jenga, and a dart board, dj on weekends, comedy night on Tuesdays and karaoke on Wednesdays!

Stopped in to enjoy a good drink and great food, Christie came through with the best customer service! She made me feel welcome, made the tastiest drinks, and provided fun banter in between other customers. Go see her!

Great place, dj night is fun, only place around with a younger crowd. Definitely would recommend. Didn't try any food so cant speak on that but the liqour was good

Great atmosphere with friendly engaging staff. Awesome nightly entertainment options to boot. Weekends are definitely dancing nights for the area. I recommend anyone that enjoys a more upbeat energy sort of bar to come check it out!

I went into the Copper Mug today for lunch and a beverage. I had heard that the hamburgers were out of this world and I have to tell you they are! There's a great seating area in the back that is open air no masks required and that's where we went for today. The staff is fabulous, friendly and made us feel right at home. Everything was clean and tidy. Parking is in the back. The menu is quite varied and I can't wait to go again and try something different. We all need to support our local businesses. This is one that I plan on frequenting . Stop in and have a great burger !

This place has it all. Great food, awesome drinks, and lots of entertainment! Especially the Dj's! 😉

Food was fantastic, cocktail was good even for a picky person. Service was a bit slow due to how new the place is, but they are definitely figuring it out, having a good time, and becoming super good at what they do with positive attitudes. This is going to be one of the hottest spots in Grant's Pass. The vibe is fun and chill, I can't stress how good the food is and the bartenders were having a good time. All around good experience for me and my friends. I will be back and I will always consider this place when deciding where to take friends.

This place is awesome...good food, great drinks, amazing staff, and very comfortable easy going vibes. Really enjoyed my time here and will be coming back for sure.

Not lying about the great food. We cleaned our plates and savored our drinks. Nice intimate vibe that was inviting. Owner was super friendly and communicative, we really enjoyed spending time here and want to return.

Wicked Mules done right! Dropped in late one night and was really impressed with the Passionfruit mule. Hard to do right and they nailed it! Loaded tacos are legit loaded and Jay was very welcoming and helpful for me and my gf who weren’t sure about the place. Good spot that’s worth your time!!!

We had an amazing lunch here today. The place was clean. The service was amazing and so was the food. They had good music playing and it was an overall nice environment. We will definitely be back again.

I hope this bar stays forever. Has a very 1920s underground bar vibe. Its small and personal and very well decorated and stocked full of the best bar food from here to ashland. Props to the owner and the nice younger guy and gal working the bar and kitchen

Best food in town for sure! Delicious cocktails! 🍸🥃 and a fun, energetic atmosphere! I love the staff and owners!! I highly recommend coming in to try the food, as they serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner!!

Ray might have some of the finest bartending skills around sickest margaritas I've had since I moved here on top of the services by Ray definitely a people person and that chef does whip it up so don't be suprised when them munchies are overly satisfied..
