One of the best dive bars in the city, without a doubt. Definitely not everyone's flavor but if you're down with a healthy dose of degeneracy and a good crusty atmosphere you'll absolutely love it here. It certainly doesn't look like it on the surface, but this is the only bar in the city that I've never once felt unsafe in - everyone looks out for everyone else and anyone who decides to cause trouble is promptly handled.

Even though this isn't my favorite place, if you're looking for a genuine Riverwest dive bar with friendly patrons and a great karaoke show, this is the place. I think it's not the place for me because I don't drink, and people likely will be drunk here and there is a boozy smell everywhere. It takes a minute to adjust, and I'm sure it's a faster adjustment period if you knock back a few.

Very accepting of every kind of existing. The only public place I actually feel comfortable, no matter what. Protective of women. If it wasn't here, I wouldn't go out. I like the employees and can relax after any major trauma in my life.

Been drinking here since I was sixteen or so and it's still got that burst my cherry vibe. A dive, yes, but one of my favorites. Nice to see it returning to its roots.

Don't go here if you can't handle some grime LOL as a bit of a strange smell in the ladies room but other than that everything is awesome

This is my go-to bar when I'm sick of the scenesters, the clique's, the jocks etc. A good dive with punk rock vibes and an easy night of fun

Still the best heavy metal dive in Riverwest. I miss the pool table in back but the game room is a nice replacement
