In a realm of dining, where stars align,
I found a haven, where all is divine.
With service so prompt, like a well-timed rhyme,

At lunchtime's embrace, a feast did unfold,
With flavors aplenty, stories untold.
From starters to mains, a culinary flight,
Five-star delight, in broad daylight.

And oh, the cheesecake, succulent and sweet,
A heavenly slice, a lunchtime treat.
With each bite, a taste of sheer delight,
Completing the feast, in radiant light.

Went in for breakfast, my boyfriend and I thought it was very delicious! Pancakes were great! Shared this plate between two, it was more than enough for us, took one pancake to mount Shasta, it was even more delicious couple hours later haha

We have been hearing about this restaurant for years. So we had the absolute pleasure of dining at the Grant’s Pass location. Our server, Emma was so friendly, welcoming and accommodating. This restaurant is lucky to have such an amazing employee.
The food is so tasty, the portions are very generous, the decor so cute and warm, and the service was great! We’ll done everyone. We plan on finding another location during our travels.

The young lady that took care of us was outstanding! She was very personable and had a great smile! I wish I could remember her name. We bonded over the tattoos we got in memory of our mother's.

So disappointed. I went to get clam chowder, found out they finally brought their prime rib back. So excited. I ordered 2. This was a to go order. Ron was a great server, the general manager was great. I got home to find my prime rib was over cooked. I called the restaurant and spoke with a Matthew apparently the Assistant manager, and he was no help stated that the whole rib roast was cooked that way. I went back to down and returned the food for a refund. However after driving in, going home, and back in to town. No compensation for the inconvenience of making me go out of my way to rectify their error. Definitely not going back again

Food was great, serving size plentiful. LOTS of menu choices, everything costs about $15-$20. Cute bear decor

Nice place. Visited with an 11 year old boy who loves their chocolate chip pancakes because they are LOADED with chocolate chips. 😍. Nice atmosphere. Efficient waiters and waitresses. All and all a good experience

Had dinner after church last night. I almost always have the Big Bear Chicken Fried Steak. 😋😋😋 Best in town! Try to get seated in Ron's area. He's great!

Stopped in to eat after being on the road for about 9 hours. We were greeted and sat immediately got our drinks ordered and had a delicious breakfast the bathrooms were broke so we had to use the bathroom and one of the back rooms which was fine but it was a little dirty it could have used some attention Rags on the floor and such no big deal.

Great food, wonderful servers. Special call out for Rodney and Randi always being awesome whenever we're there and they're working.

Honestly, this review is going to be one of the most genuine things I've ever written. I've had severe allergies since 2nd grade, and it's been an absolute struggle to find places that actually accommodate and care enough to help you find something you can eat. I didn't catch the ladies name who served and helped me and my friend today. There is a lot I can say, but nothing will quite carry the feelings and emotions of all the years I've spent having my allergies and worries be tossed aside in restaurants, only to have these amazing people take the time to listen and actually make sure the food we both needed and wanted is what we got. I've never had an experience like this before, and I doubt I ever will again. Everyone I talked to was very cordial and especially kind. I won't forget this, and I genuinely hope more people meet these folks and have the same experiences.

To the lady with the awesome tattoos and incredible soul, both me and my friend say thank you. To the chef who took the time to warn us about the possibility of cross-contamination on the grill, I say thank you for potentially saving my life and anyone else's who your vigilance will save. A final thank you to the manager/owner who was very kind and maybe hired these wonderful people. I can't thank all of you enough for the time we spent there today. If you want a great place to eat and you suffer from allergies of any kind, I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant.

Visited on Christmas day, great service and food! It's much better than last vist! ! No issues!

Great experience. Staff were very friendly - especially our server Jennifer! Food was exactly what I expected - good, fast and filling. If you're stopping at the Tesla Supercharger or just need a break passing through, skip the McDonald's and give this spot a go.

Had a Hugh and delicious Turkey dinner here. Te gravy tasted homemade, not out of an envelope, from the senior menu. Big enough for two people. Really good!

We went here on a Sunday morning and the food was spectacular!! Service was amazing and the place was SOOOO clean!! I recommend this place to anyone! I will definitely be going back 🩷💙

The food and service here was outstanding. I had biscuits and gravy and sausage patty and it was greater than my expectation.

Crystal, our server, was more than kind, helpful, knowledgeable and efficient. She was also personable and professional.
We have been going to the Grants Pass Black Bear Diner since 2015 and have never had a bad experience.
We have always found the servers to be the caliber of Crystal, our server today.
The food is always perfect and delivered in a timely and efficient manner.
We cannot recommend Black Bear Diner highly enough.

Such a wonderful diner restaurant, the staff was very friendly, I mean every single one. The service is incredible. The food is very filling and delicious. We went there on Christmas Day and the restaurant was very busy but you can see they tried to serve you asap. Also you can have the contactless menu and pay your bill on your phone. That’s awesome if you have Covid concerns.
