This amazing place treats you like family. I went here for a 2'd opinion on a dental issue and was so glad I did. The staff here is wonderful, professional, kind and friendly. Dr. Pierson's thorough knowledge, extensive experience and expertise were obvious as he did an incredible job of explaining all the best options for my situation. He also found some important additional issues that the other place missed.

His recommended solution was far less expensive than what the other place was trying to sign me up for, and he empowered me with all the pertinent information I needed to make the right decision for me. I opted to have him do a procedure and he and his staff performed it masterfully and pain free. I'm really glad I went to Abbott Family Dentistry, I'll be going here from now on and recommend them with the utmost confidence, this office is the best !!!

Having been in medicine for over 30 years, I look for the doctors that doctors go to. So when my parents, who had just moved to Anchorage, needed a dentist, I asked around and Dr. Pierson was highly recommended. He is skilled AND kind.

Recently when my 86 year old mom broke her very old bridge, losing 3 teeth a few weeks before Christmas, Dr Pierson and his office staff went way out of their way to get my mom's dental work and a new bridge completed before the holidays! Dentists are not all created equally - skill and expertise matter. His office staff was very helpful too.

My son needed wisdom teeth extraction, but we needed to find a new dentist. Dr. Pierson's office is in our neighborhood so I stopped by. I was greeted by his friendly staff was able to speak briefly with Dr. Pierson. I was very impressed with his manner and his knowledge and experience. He was sincere and genuine, confident but also comforting. I knew that my son would be given individualized care and respect. I made the appointment! My son had an outstanding experience. He was relaxed and comfortable thanks to Dr. Pierson's manner and approach. Our family has found a new dentist that is deserving of our respect and trust. Thank you, Dr. Pierson!

My Fiancé and I both use Abbot Family Dentistry and Dr. Pierson. She actually convinced me to give them a try.

After some really poor experiences with other dentists in my teens I avoided them like the plague. That choice comes with consequences. During my first visit he found 3 cracked teeth, showed me pictures of each and developed a treatment plan.

There's 2 reasons I'd recommend Abbot Dentistry.

1. He's remarkably skilled at walking you through what he's doing so there's no surprises. This is huge if (like me) you're anxious about going to the dentist.

2. He really is incredibly gifted in regards to his dexterity. After 3 full crown preps and 2 completed crown installations (waiting on the 3rd crown to arrive now) I felt practically 0 pain. He uses the smallest needles I've ever seen to deliver the numbing medication.

Very good first time experience with Dr. Pierson: he communicates clearly, explains what he is seeing and the plan of action, and costs very clearly. Staff is very cordial.

Had bad bacterial infection that penetrated my sinuses and he was able to quickly diagnosis and repaired. He was a real life saver more than he knows.

As a walk in patient had a good experience with Dr. Pierson and his staff. I felt they did and thorough and exceptional job cleaning my teeth, and explained my situation well.

Staff was nice! The dentist talked during the hour and a half. To other staff. Did a awful job my teeth are chipping an seem poorly done.
