The best Mexicana Restaurant we have been to, hands down! Very friendly. We are learning Spanish and have even asked questions if we are speaking something correctly, and they helped us out. Even started speaking to us in Spanish so we could try and respond! Pretty awesome people work here! The food is yummy and you will not be going home hungry. oh and the spicy mango margaritas are delicious!

As always, I do my reviews as a bit of a story, just warning 😉

Walk in, Unfortunately, we're 30 minutes before closing, so we kind of feel like [REDACTED]s. However, the wait staff is extremely kind to us and asks us how many, Three. He then takes us to our table and provides us menus. We, knowing we were going to be late, had already looked at the menus online and determined that we were getting the Camarones a la Diabla(P1), a queso dip(P2), and an Asada Burrito(P3). The Asada Burrito was for me, and I was not expecting it to be so large. In my opinion, it was delicious. The steak inside was seasoned amazingly, and the sauce was finger licking good. The queso was very cheesy, as it should be, with a slight kick. I'm told the Camarones are so good my compatriot has come several times for it, but alas, they were not for me today. The chips they give you for free come with beans and cheese, as well as a tomato salsa. The tomato salsa was pretty good, but it had no kick. Instead it tasted mostly of cilantro. At the end I found a chip that would be great to scoop a ton of it up with, and found a slight amount of kick. The onion flavor in it is also subtle, but apparent.

Food was fantastic and plentiful. Shredded beef and al pastor were amazing. It may sound silly but the refried beans were the best I've ever had. Fun atmosphere and great ambiance. Lovely artwork. Fire pits in the evening.

This place is my new favorite in town! Great food with authentic depth of flavor. Our server was singing, happy, and quick. They have my favorite salsa by far. They also have a great salsa verde option if you like a little extra spice. The margarita was on point, not too sweet. The Horchata was soooo good! The atmosphere is cozy and refreshed. Prices are good. We also got a free popper shot! I mean, 5/5 I could go on and on. Gracias!! We will be regulars. 👏🏼👍🏼🫶🏼

This is my absolute favorite restaurant in Grant Pass, Oregon. The food is always fantastic and no matter what I order I am always delighted with my meal! Not to mention their alcohol drinks, my favorite is the guava margarita 🔥Servers are also great and always efficient, happy and polite. Can’t wait to return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to eat.

Search for the best Mexican in Grants Pass and I think I found it. One thing is that’s it’s a little hard to get here if your not familiar with the road layout. The atmosphere was great and the waiter was fun and I felt like his Amigo after the meal. I got the small combination plate with two enchiladas with a side of sour cream and guacamole. The chips and salsa and bean dip was amazing to warm us up. Service was fast and fun.

I highly recommend El Molcajete for their food, service, and atmosphere! We are only in Grant's Pass for a couple of days and we drove past El Molcajete our first night, but did notice that it seemed very busy so we made a mental note. Our second day here we stopped in and WOW. I ordered the Mole Enchiladas (you can select your meat and I chose shredded beef), my Wife ordered the "Small Combination" - cheese enchilada and chili relleno. Both our plates were outstanding. While we were waiting for our our (which was only about 10 minutes), they brought chips and salsa with a bean dip. The salsa was excellent! The restaurant was nicely decorated and very clean, the staff were pleasant and attentive, and the food was excellent - the best Mexican food we have had in a very long time - and here we almost missed it.

First of all this is probably the best Mexican food that I have ever had. Extremely fresh, so tasteful and the server that we had (Fransisco) was SO FUNNY! He made the entire dinner a very funny and lovely experience ! If you pass this place and don’t stop to eat here you are missing out!

We stopped for a late lunch today. I was greeted by the friendliest smile, seated quickly outside with our dog. The menu was huge with a lot of great choices. We enjoyed both our small combination meals. Friendly, fast, efficient service and great food! We saw someone served the fajitas that looked amazing!!

Nice out side dinning area. The place was busy, and the staff were completely overwhelmed, but they were still very helpful.
Well worth dinner and drinks. The price on the food was good and everything tasted great.
The English language is a little bit slow here. But its authentic Grants Pass Mexican food.

Absolutely blown away. The quality of the food at El Molcajete is a cut above what I'm normally able to find much further south. I ordered the seafood molcajete and it was absolutely stellar. The atmosphere is extremely warm and inviting and the wait staff were highly attentive and downright hilarious! The Grande margarita is easily enough for 4 (eaternal thanks to the DD) and very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a high quality dining expirience at a reasonable price point. I will be back as soon as I can!

“Ooh we y why whu😳” ….. heard about Casa Amigos from fair share of folks(being I’m not from the area)….. fortunately it was close; due to “lack of staff”

When I say it was … “fortunes n Disguise” I mean it !!! The waiter was so amazing(serve us dining outside). The friendliness and advocate of choice he thought we should try. Overall amazing !!! And to finish off “2shots for the wife and I”(so smooth😶‍🌫🥶)

Waitresses friendly atmosphere warm, food delicious, Monday afternoon around 2:00 there was no wait we sat immediately 🎉 plenty of parking for all, handicap friendly and accessible, Restrooms available for customers definitely family and kid friendly. Their food is available to go. You may sit indoor or outdoor I did notice patio heaters they're conveniently located cross the street from Riverside Park. My number 17 combo meal enchilada, taco, tamale with rice and beans was so big I had to bring some home.
They bring fresh hot chips salsa and beans to your table while taking your drinks prior to your meals arrival. A lot of food for your buck

Servers were extremely friendly!! Food was really delicious and quality was spot on. Huge portions so worth the cost. A little taste of home being from New Mexico. Salsa was mild but very tasty! The drinks were great! Will be back.
