Catalyst Pizza is fantastic. I'm in town for a month and my first weekend in town I ordered a pizza to pick up (The Gangster) . It was so good. So, a week later on my way back in from a weekend camping, I stopped in to try the Tourist with an added hot honey drizzle and it was also delicious. The second time I came in, they had a glitch with their online ordering system and my order had disappeared. When they realized the issue they were so great and gave me a drink while I waited and rushed the pizza to have it done in under 15 minutes. And it was just as good as the first one. Plus, they had an arcade I filled my time with. I only mention the system error because I think the service was really great both when everything went well and when there was a system error. They do a great job on the food and service side.

I LOVE THIS PLACE! I go here weekly for a slice and make a point to bring guests here from out of town. It’s family friendly, and comfortable for solo dining. I see many working folks pop in for lunch. The beer has always been fresh and cold. The service is awesome.

We popped in for lunch. Very friendly service. I asked some other patrons how the fries were, they raved about them I ordered a thin slice with two toppings. It was HUGE and delicious. The toppings were generous. My friend had a half salad and a thick slice. His pizza was gorgeous and delicious. I’m sorry I failed to take pics. The prices are absolutely reasonable. Chill vibe. I’ll definitely return.

The food here is just outstanding! I very highly reccomend giving it a try if you have not. Great seating, decor and a little arcade with a lounge. We have gone a few times now and have yet to be disappointed, from pizza, to sandwiches and wings, it's all great!

Seriously, do not sleep on this place .... calzone light crisp crust not too thick. Toppings and cheese filled to the brim. Sandwich OUTSTANDING ... bread was soft and toppings held center stage! And can we discuss their fry sauce !?? 😘

Wow !!im telling you what !! I eat pizza , we came on a stroll today from gold hill , we wanted to try somthing new wife hit in this place on Siri , we came for lunch don’t change that ny style crust Wowzers , and omg pizza done like no other !! Our new fave spot and hit that game room , pin ball machines are sweet !! Turtles and spider man ,! Who ever started this joint good job !!! Eric and Trina from gold hill 🤟🙌🤘👍👌

One of the best additions to Grants Pass in a long time.
Pizza is delicious, sandwiches are spot on. We tried a Special, "Lasagna Nachos" and what a delicious creation.
I have had a Fried Chicken sandwich with bacon (2x's) and it was the best chicken sandwich I have had in a long, long time. It is so big it can be shared by 2 people.

Meatball Sliders and the Calzone's are delicious too.

There's an awesome arcade with retro games and the place is family friendly.

all roads lead to catalyst. i haven’t had pizza this good anywhere on the west coast. the detroit deep dish is on point and will bring you to tears.

do yourself a favor and eat here if you haven’t yet. i got the gangster first time. i will inevitably try them all. good music. good lighting. great beer. made me feel like a kid again. warm inviting fun and filled with friendly staff and customers

I've only had this place three times and I'm so impressed. You're may have to wait for the best- they're growing and developing- but just wow! This is literally the best pie I've had in years. Doesn't matter the style, they crush both. So far I've only had the OG in both styles- It's to good to quit. Also the garlic knots, fried ravioli, and tirimisu are crazy Delicious. Friendly service combined with the rest, just brought this place to inside my top three for our foodie little town. Def best pizza in all of Oregon❣❣

A very chill family friendly pizza place with absolutely delicious pit fire pizza. The vibe is new, fresh and hip. The pizza and portions were nice and big. There is an arcade for the kiddos. It seems small from from the outside but it’s a big place inside with 2 rooms. I would definitely come here again.

This is my third time eating pizza from Catalyst - twice from their food truck and once from the restaurant. Didn't love the flavor of this crust. The food truck was better both times.

Update - We've been several more times and the pizzas were great. Best pizza in GP.

Best things about this place are the service, portion size, and the pizza options. We got a pepperoni and the gangster. The pepperoni had that unique char n cup pepperoni that is so yummy. The gangster was a treat of some big chunks of cheese and a yummy honey flavor. I definitely recommend this place.

Best pizza in town, hands down! They don't have any competition, in my opinion, bc their pizza is that good. I've dined in and have had take out. Personally love the take out because they're so busy usually the wait is pretty long dining in. However, if you get a chance, dining in is a great experience with a cool retro vibe and a decent little arcade. Great for all occasions and definitely family friendly.

This is the crust I have been searching for, for years! Crisp, chewy, thin-ish, flavorful and coated with cornmeal on the bottom. In my view, the crust makes or breaks the pizza. So, this crust coupled with interesting and delicious topping combinations gave me a meal I have never tasted in my life. It was SO GOOD!

It was a Large NY style "the tourist", and when it arrived, it took up three quarters of our 4 person table. Huge! I didn't know they made pizza pans that big!

We also ordered a small pizza with white sauce and ricotta, I can't remember the name. It was also HUGE for a small. One of our party got a single 2 topping slice in his preferred flavors and that thing was the size of 4 normal pizza slices!

This is all to say, you might be turned off by the prices, expecting a normal sized pizza, this is not the case, believe me, you are getting a deal and delighted tastebuds!!

Great pizza! Good local beers on tap. Service and atmosphere have been good the last few times I came here. They used to have a food truck at the Weekend Brewery, and had so much success they were able to get this first indoor location. I will be coming here again whenever I’m in Grants Pass

You guys are killing it with the pizzas and Calzones! My favorite ones are the ones like the gangster that have the whipped garlic ricotta on them. Probably the only place in town that actually has real pizza dough (that’s fermented like real pizza dough should be) I didn’t think It could get any better but quality has definitely gotten even better since you moved into the brick and mortar location… which I guess makes sense since there is more room to prep dough for the required time to rise versus in a small food truck, etc.

Absolutely hands down thee best pizza I have had in all of Oregon.
Wings, Thai Peanut and hot BBQ were damn good too!

It was our first time into their new location, the cashier was absolutely amazing and friendly greeted us with a great smile! The pizza is seriously always so yummy, and don’t forget the peanut butter mousse cake.

Amazing food! We have had the pizzas, sandwiches, and burgers and continue to try new menu items each time we go! This last round we had the honey habanero crispy chicken sandwich and it was so sooooo good! We pick up a lot but the atmosphere inside is great too and our daughter loves the game room!!

Catalyst moved from a truck at Weekend Beer to a full-fledged restaurant on H st without losing any quality. I got the Stromboli; other members of our party got a cheesesteak sandwich, a gyro, and a pizza. The food was delicious and the portions go beyond generous - they are firmly in the “now I have lunch for tomorrow” camp! Definitely some of the best food in town. Come get some!

Catalyst is King and destroys all other pizzas in Southern Oregon. Let’s break it down-
CRUST: perfect in both styles, but I prefer the Detroit with those craspy cheesy corners.
SAUCE: red sauce is flavorful, not overly herby and the correct amount of sauce is applied- no wet or dry pies here.
CHEESE: not that rubbery stuff. I love the pizzas with brick cheese and ricotta. I love cheese.
TOPPINGS: high quality ingredients, creative combos and balanced topping to pie ratio.
REHEAT: comes back to life in toaster oven like a champ! Buy an extra pie for tomorrow or you may regret it.

My favorites are the Loving Cup, Gangster and Mother Clucker pies.
