Gates Furniture & Mattress

We love Gates! Backstory: we ordered a king bed frame off of Amazon recently and not so shocking, it looked nothing like the photos, so back it went. We had also ordered a king mattress and sadly, that didn't work out either. So instead of sleeping on the floor, we swung into our local Gates store to see what they had. Nick Gates directed us to their Mattress department (which is in it's own building!) and it was loaded with options. It was so nice to actually be able to test out the bed before we buy it. We ended up liking a model that just happened to be on sale, which was great. Then, as if things couldn't get any better, we mentioned what we were looking for in a bed frame, and he went back to his sale area and showed us the perfect FRAME! It was all delivered and set up for us in 2 days and we could not have asked for a better experience. The main store is filled with so many things, and Nick and his staff truly work with you to make sure you get what you want. Thank you again!

Another outstanding shopping experience at Gates. We were unable to come to the store due to illness. Iris understood what we needed and set up the purchase. She is a delight. Then your two delivery men removed our old bed...and set up our new adjustable bed. They gave us clear instructions on how to manage the remote...all the time being ever so pleasant and helpful.

Gates is the most delightful place to purchase magnificent furniture!
Shopping is not easy but the employees at Gates help so well.

Very nice store. Lots of selections. Aurora was very helpful. Prices were reasonable, and there were signs of discounts as you purchased more products.

My wife and I went to Gates Furniture to find a couch and recliner. Upon arriving Eva approached us to help with our selection. Eva was very professional and knew the inventory well saving us time. The store was stocked nicely and very clean. We were able to find perfect matches for our home. The price was right and the furniture was high quality. My sister lost everything in the Alameda fire and was uninsured. Gates has always been beyond phenomenal in service. They were so kind, patient, and understanding as she picked out and purchased her new furniture. Worth the drive to Grants Pass for quality furniture and respectful sales staff

The folks at Gates are awesome! We worked with two great women and Ben, the manager. We lost our home to a fire 7/22/23 and the recovery process has been stressful. The service department came to my home in 2 days after calling. My chair was looked over throughly, and repaired with efficiency. The serviceman was very friendly and professional.
