Great secret spot for me and my wife to get away from our usual routine. WE LOVE THE THEMES!!! Always something fun to compliment the great food!! Try the burgers, potato skins, poppers, chicken wings, or tots! Enjoy some pool, video poker, or just sit have a beer and enjoy a game!

$11.00 for a well cooked to-order cheeseburger, a delicious, grilled bun with all the works and home-cut fries that I asked to be extra crispy.

They did not disappoint!

The service was spot-on, the place is clean and my cheeseburger meal was delicious.

This is a bar and grill with ample dining and at-bar seating, 2 pool tables, video games and video poker.

I'll update as I try other food there.

16 oz prime rib was the bomb! Best I ever had. Unfortunately they only serve it Fridays and Saturdays. Prices were reasonable and the staff was friendly. No real complaints except for the fact that the bartender was alone and serving both bar and the tables so I'm cutting her a lot of Slack. Overall a great dining experience. Will return.

Wow this place has been around for a long time. The bartender was super friendly and can multi-task with ease. The whole place was nice and laid back without weirdos and all of the patrons were very polite. Fun video poker but I didn't win a thing. Will be going back though, because the bartender was sooooo nice. Four paws up for a great place to go in the inner southeast neighborhood. And I could tell that this place is well respected and it was very clean and inviting. The lighting and simple yet attractive decor is a plus.

We really loved the cheese burgers we got there. Nothing scimpy or lacking. Overall great experience with the service and ambiance.

Service is great and food is really good for a bar. The staff put a lot of effort into this place. No idea why more people from the neighborhood don't go here, even on major nights like NYE when you'd expect it to be busy it's pretty quiet, which is arguably good for the consumer experience but not so much for the bar. Regardless, always a good experience here!

Daily planet is one of my favorite places to eat. Service is always good and customers for the must part are good decent people. I do miss their allowing kids to eat there. My grandkids loved their food.

Hidden gem! We love going here. We’ve also started a bit of a cult following when it comes to hanging out here, whenever we have friends visit from the inner city. They love this place as well. Cheap pool. Great food, solid drinks. Love the service, and they always remember what I drink

This has been my absolute favorite for over 15yrs , the Philly is better here then anywhere else. Burgers the size of a dinner plate staff has been here equally as long as I have. Cheap well drinks pool tables that are free on Sundays, video poker with 6 machines

Looks a little rundown on the outside and almost unnoticeable but finally one day I stopped by it was nice and cool grey Air Conditioning plenty of room in the gambling machine plus they give you soda which they should unlike other places that don't who are greedy those places I tend to go away from the cooks are too Mexican ladies and they are great Cooks I must tell you if you're looking for a drink gambling even some pinball and the nice cool area to hang out that's not packed full of loud drunks which I can only really speak for lunch time and breakfast time this is a place that you would want to go check it out for yourself their food is not the cookie cut type of food like Elmer's and places like that I guess I would highly recommend this place to anybody that's looking for good food don't let the bar discourage you either this place welcomes families and there are kids and families in there all the time and plenty of room I recommend you go to this place big portions low prices there should be more places like this thank you guys for being there

I’m a little ticked off that I didn’t start coming to the Daily Planet sooner! Great neighborhood bar, great food, and yeah sure, it’s not in a great part of town, but I live here, too. Nice servers with personality. Exceptional prime rib and lobster tail on Valentines Day - they really did it up and it was adorable, affordable, and delicious.

Super quality spot. Great draft beers for $5 and a great selection of food that’s cheap but prepared really incredibly well! Bartenders are great, friendly, and totally fun to talk with. Neighborhood regulars are awesome too. Highly recommend!🔆

Wasn't too busy which I liked. Bartender was pretty awesome, friendly and attentive. The food I wasn't all the excited about. I'm sure it's just me, But the item we ordered was hard to actually eat unless I took it apart (Club/BLT) can't remember which. But it was hard to eat. I would go back still cause service was great.

Good place. I dig the rustic style setting. The food is tasty, I love the fries especially, and the burgers are delicious too, the service was friendly and welcoming, I didn't feel ignored here at all. The atmosphere is mellow, the large building leaves it feeling less crowded inside, and the booths are nice sized for groups. And there are pool tables! Highly recommended.

Awesome environment! Good food, the drinks were just the way we like them, the patrons were friendly, and the staff, Heather and Karmen were outstanding! I'm kicking myself for not going to this place sooner.
