The food is great. Very clean and nice. The staff were very friendly to us.

You can tell they put a lot of pride in the food and work. This is an owner-operated place- so the quality is legit!

My partner and I came here for brunch and we were so pleased! Service was fantastic. Everyone was so nice and welcoming. I had the maluska Benedict with the salmon lox and it was one of the most delicious meals I've had out. Really loved it here. We will be back!

It's one of our new favorites. Food has been excellent every time. Their Eggs Benedict options are the best I've seen in Anchorage so far. As with any place like this, timing is important, but even overburdened staff handled us well.

This place is amazing. We ordered the special today- carved ham, cottage potatoes, eggs and a homemade biscuit. WOW. It was all soo good. Coffee was excellent and service was superb. What a find, wish we had one back in Florida!

Took my Mom and Grandma here today. The staff was so friendly, and the Reuben was delicious. Well spaced tables, comfortable atmosphere and not so loud we couldn’t enjoy our conversation together. Will definitely be visiting again. Location and parking are great also.

Cozy place for breakfast or lunch. Consistent and interesting menu and beer selection, the kids love it for waffles & pancakes.

Safe and delicious!! Wish I could have breakfast there everyday!! Don’t leave without trying the cottage potatoes and berry jam that’s made in-house! I appreciated the servers and patrons wearing masks, servers could be seen washing hands and the food was great. The servers were attentive and this menu reminded me of The Netherlands.

The Bavarian apple cake is my addiction. For a pastry that can either be cloyingly sweet or pucker-up tart in less careful hands, Cafe Amsterdam nails that balance everytime, and the dough is just buttery enough. Sometimes something else on the menu tempts me, and it's always delicious, but that apple cake always calls me home. I can't recommend this cozy little spot enough.

Disappointed to see a lot of negative reviews here, but it seems like they're mostly from folks who didn't like that the owners took a hard stance on COVID safety protocols. I hope you'll look past those grumblers and treat yourself to what everybody seems to agree on: the food.

Phenomenal place! I love how most of the dishes come on a croissant 🥐 I love croissants!!! And the portions aren't obnoxiously huge, just the right about to fill you. My husband got the Croissant Beatrix, and I got the Cordon Bleu. Both on a Croissant and bots delicious! I love their Dijonnaise. Definitely have to go here more often.

I came in for breakfast today as I am new to town and the gentleman at Red Wings boots suggested it. What an awesome place. It was clean, warm and the staff were amazing. I had the high protein breakfast and it was really really good. I was even offered some extra hashbrowns when the server had seen I finished my whole plate! That is old school service and it is very much appreciated!! I will be coming back for sure! Thank you

Had the awesome Molaska Benedict. The salmon lox is made in their kitchen. Please note masks are strongly enforce to protect employees. This is not an issue for me.

This place is fantastic. I have been coming for years. The customer service is outstanding. Yes, they currently require masks to be worn when you are not eating. Its a small thing and by no means will keep me away from delicious food. They also have an amazing selection of Beers from Belgium. Not to be missed!

Had an amazing experience here! We were recently in the area for my brother’s engagement celebration, and decided to stop by and try something new. Great atmosphere, service, ambience, and of course, food. Was initially surprised at the low Google rating, but upon closer look, it turns out that people are rating this establishment inaccurately and not based on the restaurant’s actual quality. Unfortunate how that is, but I’m very happy that we gave this place a shot regardless. Had such a lovely time — the food was delicious, portions were very sufficient, and we left plenty satisfied. Will definitely be back!

Hands down one of the best kept secrets in Anchorage! If you want a well made breakfast, that also breaks the mold and shakes things up. This is the place for you!

Breakfast was wonderful! Great selection of beer. We'll definitely be back. The staff was super friendly but strict about their mask policy so if strapping a piece of cloth to your face for two minutes is a deal breaker for you go somewhere else. More deliciousness for the rest of us!
