Ca’Lucchenzo

This was my first fine dining experience, and it was AMAZING! Our waitress walked us through the menu with charm and grace, and left us with a great understanding of the restaurant’s culture, history, and food selection. Our appetizers (the foccacia, goat cheese bread, and Hawaiian fish) were to die for, and our entrees (the papardelle and mushroom pasta) were simply splendid. Each of these dishes had great flavors, and were light enough to leave room to enjoy the next course. Our dessert was phenomenal as well- the strawberry olive oil cake and fried donuts were the cherry on top of the cake! It was so great to be in an atmosphere where the staff clearly cares about the dining experience they create, and to have enough food to have leftovers for the next day! I am EXTREMELY delighted with our experience, and can’t wait to come back and make our next reservation! Thank you so much to the staff at Ca’Luccenzo for making our first visit and my first fine dining experience so amazing!!!

What an experience! Fresh made pasta right in front of you. The homemade Tiramisu is creamy and moist - the best we have ever had. They have an extensive wine list. The server was extremely knowledgeable about all of the menu items and wine. We cannot wait to return. Highly recommend!

We love this place so so so much. It's a beautiful space and not too crowded and the atmosphere is incredible. The cocktails are gorgeous (espresso martini especially) and the food is outstanding! The staff know the menu very well and offer their recommendations. We have never had a bad experience here, we tell EVERYONE we know about it. They've made every dining experience so special.

My boyfriend and I went here for our Valentine’s dinner and were very impressed! The service is excellent. We were so kindly greeted when arriving, and offered to have our jackets hung up. We were seated immediately, though we did have reservations. Our waitress was amazing! We were given a very in depth tour of the menu and our waitress was very knowledgeable when we had questions. We sat at the pasta bar, which was a cool experience as we were able to observe the restaurant. The atmosphere is very inviting, not too noisy and not too bare. Both our dishes were SO delicious, and we can’t wait to try others during different seasons. I got a Gnocchi dish and my boyfriend had a Rigatoni dish. For dessert, we had the vanilla custard option! So unique and yummy! Would order everything again! It was our first time here and we are so glad we finally got the chance to try it. I would highly recommend!

There are many noteworthy Italian restaurants along the west coast of Lake Michigan, and this might be the best. Zak and Sarah have created an incredible place to dine in Milwaukee. The food is sublime, service attentive, and a wine list designed with purpose. If Michelin came to town, there are a few places that would get a nod. This is one.

Excellent food! Wonderful and welcoming staff. We enjoyed our meals thoroughly! From the foccacia and goat cheese appetizers to the delicious main courses of ravioli, orecchiette with Italian sausage, pork tenderloin and tajarin and finally panna cotta with strawberries for dessert for all of us. We will be back!

This was the best meal I’ve had maybe ever. The focaccia is out of this world. Our server Amanda was amazing- she, the hostess, the food runner, and the owner were all so friendly and wonderful. We tried the Amaro cart tasting at the end and it was so fun! Make sure you buy a round of beers for the staff at the end of your meal! We will be coming back ASAP, cannot recommend enough, everything was PERFECT. And if you’re unsure of Italian cuisine, they will walk you through the menu in great detail and offer FANTASTIC recommendations.

This was our first visit to Ca'Lucchenzo and it was phenomenal! We made reservations for the pasta counter, but other guests were still dining so we were given a table in the back corner of the restaurant and it was the perfect spot to enjoy our anniversary dinner. The atmosphere was warm and inviting at our faux candlelit table.

Our server was fantastic and gave us a summary of the menu highlighting her favorite dishes and those that were popular with guests. I took her suggestions and was definitely not disappointed.

The pasta was fresh, light, flavorful and gorgeously presented. Every part of our meal was a 10!

Everything was absolutely delicious. We were smiling ear to ear with how happy the dishes made us! The flavors and textures were amazing and well thought out. The staff from the moment we entered Ca’lucchenzo from the moment we left was so welcoming. Service was amazing from start to finish. Highly recommend visiting this spot. We drove from Madison and can’t wait to return!

One of the best meals I've had in the Milwaukee area. The prosciutto appetizer was superb! We also had pasta with lamb Bolognese, as well as pasta with green garlic and mushrooms (not the names on the menu, don't recall what they were called). The lamb was magnificent, the other was very beautifully spring-like in presentation and flavor. Ordered tiramisu to go - next day it was phenomenal! Thoroughly marvelous experience.

Top of the line owners chef Zak and Sarah at Ca’Lucchenzo have it going on! Everything my Italian husband and I have tried here the four times we have come has been perfectly cooked, prepared and exquisitely plated. They pride themselves on a homely feel where anyone and everyone feels welcome to eat at their table! The staff are so hospitable and remember you if you come back for seconds or thirds or even fourths. *shrugs* What can I say? When we find excellent Italian food we will always be back! Fifths soon? Don’t miss out on this gem in Milwaukee!

We had a wonderful New Year’s Eve dinner that included 5 courses and we enjoyed the wine pairing as well. The staff was very friendly and provided us with insight on some of the courses. We look forward to eating there again and hopefully get a chance to watch the pasta be made.

Everything about this was wonderful!! Celebrating my niece's new job and the staff signed a congratulations card for her!! And the food, WOW!! I highly recommend trying this place!!

Ca'Lucchenzo had been on my list of places to try since moving to MKE. It's always booked and a bit of a drive for us, so first off, apologies for taking so long. Upon arrival, we were greeted kindly and told we were in for a treat. Once the focaccia and Nebbiolo came to our table we knew this would be at least good. The gorgonzola-apple salad was delicious, arancino awesome, and the pastas were also lovingly prepared. We had gnocchi with fungi and cauliflower and cherry with pasta. After having ample time to digest my experience, I would give Ca' Lucchenzo the full five stars. Was it like being in Italy? Almost. But for Milwaukee, it was really a standout dining experience. Grazie per tutto!

Great pasta place! Cocktails and apps were tasty (get the bread with goat cheese and hunny). The two main dishes we got blew us away. Great staff and atmosphere. Can’t wait to go back!

What an amazing kitchen with authentic Italian food here in Milwaukee. The homemade pastas are incredible and each preparation is done with talent, passion and incredible quality ingredients!
Love Ca’Lucchenzo and highly recommend an outside foodie evening, enjoy!

The service, wine, appetizers, main course, desserts, and environment are 10/10. We had such a special dining experience from A to Z. Our server, Lynn, was extremely knowledgeable and attentive. I would recommend this unique Italian restaurant to anyone; they clearly care about the quality and ingredient selection.

Best pasta in Milwaukee, creative and authentic! Can’t recommend enough!! Also, they left a customized birthday card for my wife which was the nicest touch!

I had high expectations, and Ca'Lucchenzo met and exceeded them. The house made pasta was fantastic, truly some of freshest pasta in the Milwaukee area. The appetizers were very flavorful (the arancini in particular was delicious). All three of us enjoyed our food and we will definitely be back.

Had a nice dinner here, I enjoyed everything we ordered. Can't wait to come back and try their other dishes!
