PCA Urgent Care - Lake Otis

This was my first visit to PCA and I highly recommend it. The lady at the front desk was so kind and helpful. Sam and the student shadowing him were both so professional, and kind. Eric was a wonderful provider. He made it easy to understand what was wrong with my ear and explained everything in a way that was easy to understand. I will definitely go back to them if I ever need urgent care again.

This urgent care rocks (and I NEVER imagined those words together in a sentence). I interacted with three people: one who checked me in/out, one who took my vitals and basic notes, and the PA. All three were excellent. They worked efficiently but did not rush. They treated me with care and respect, like I was a real person who they sincerely wished to help. The PA presented me with an explanation for his evaluation, including patiently answering my questions, and offered me clear choices for treatment. I got a script for physical therapy, which I badly needed and am so grateful for. The office was clean. I happened to go when it was not crowded, and did not have to wait long. The woman behind the desk helped me understand how my insurance would work. There were no weird comments made about my weight or my trans gender identity. My partner came with me and was also treated well. I am so grateful to have this office in town, and, if I ever need urgent care again for myself or someone else, will surely return.

We don’t liven in Anchorage and my little one came down with something and required a doctor. I picked the place with the highest reviews and it was this place. The front desk woman was amazing, nurses were great, doctor was pleasant and knowledgeable. To top it off there is a pharmacy right upstairs so we didn’t have to figure out a new pharmacy or drive around town. It was done within 15 minutes. Thank you so much!!!

The service was so fast! They were patient and so kind while I was there. I probably waited 2 minutes in the lobby for the nurse, then once in the room I probably waited another 2 minutes for the dr. And the dr was extremely understanding and listened to me, respecting that I know my body and I know what works. She also asked questions that covered all the bases, questions for things typically have to bring up on my own with other drs. 10/10 recommend!

I didn’t spend more than 5 minutes in the waiting room (it helps if you pre-register when they email you to). The front desk & Dr. Foland’s nurse were very friendly. Dr. Foland is a good doctor & listener. She listened carefully to all my questions. She asked if I had any other concerns besides the one that I was there for, she gave me suggestions & goals for a healthier life. I left feeling good about my office visit.

When you Google for medical care (because you don’t live here), you never know what you are going to get. PCA Urgent Care is AMAZING. Staff are extremely friendly and professional. I felt “heard” by the provider about my symptoms and included in the treatment plan. Do not hesitate to seek your medical care here.

The PA we saw were very helpful. He was thorough and provided treatment plan that helped with our sickness. Highly recommend this place. We were seem quickly too, the check in was easy.

Dr. Hateley was extremely helpful, we got in immediately and all of the staff were friendly and quick.

Dr Hougham thoroughly answered my questions. He is kind and friendly and caring.

I came in as a walk in, in marked pain. The walk in receptionist recognized this right away an offered a room. I couldn’t sit down from the pain an it’s a little awkward standing over everyone mascara running filling out paperwork. They were upfront with prices as I do not have insurance an made sure I new everything that needed to be done. The doctor that took care of me was absolutely wonderful and explained the whole procedure as she was doing it and made sure I knew exactly what she was doing an how close she was to being done. I absolutely am going back there for routine care as she has put my fear of going to the doctor at ease.
