I have followed Dr. Schooley for 40 years. I trust her completely. She is so very well informed on the latest treatments for my cats and dogs. She is very thorough. Her opinions and suggestions are golden! I would recommend her to anyone who would like an exceptional doctor for their fur babies.

Dr Schooley is the most down to earth caring person and vet you will find. We drive over 30 minutes out of our way to make sure we continue to have the best veterinary services. 10/10

It has been a minute since we needed Dr. Schooley's services, but while we lived in Florida, for years she took care of our multitude of pets - from Marco the [epileptic] Neapolitan mastiff, to Sophie the stray cat we saved (and whose bill put us in debt right off the bat, LOL!), to Boscoe the Wheaton terrier... thanks to Dr. Schooley, despite the circumstances they lived their best life. For this, and for her kindness, caring ways, and invaluable experience in veterinary medicine, we are eternally grateful! One of the best vets in south FL.

I can't say enough about Dr. Schooley and her team. I did a walk in distraught and emotional thinking my 5-month-old Golden Doodle had Parvo based on my Google research -:) Dr. Schooley was warm, comforting and very kind to my Yuki. She had me laughing by the time I left. My puppy had a really bad ear infection, needed moderate anesthesia and a procedure to clean out the ear canal with bloodwork and cultures. I left him in her care and picked him up 4 hours later in much better spirits, fed and tail wagging! She's knowledgeable and knows what the heck she's doing! Her staff is kind and welcoming and the clinic is clean and inviting. I'm forever a client.

Meeting Dr. Schooley and her wonderful staff was a pleasure my husband and I and our two dogs had last weekend. They fawned over our dogs making us all feel special. Before we left an hour or so later, we had enough new information to write our own textbook. All the info was given in a kind and sweet way. Our one sick dog is doing much better; the well dog is still well. We will be going back soon and I hope we won't have to go back many more times soon because going to a vet these days is an expensive proposition. Thank you to Dr. Schooley and her fabulous staff once again.

What a wonderful experience I have had with Dr. Schooley for the past 5 years. She walks you through the entire process and makes you feel comfortable knowing the exact procedure she is doing, why she is doing it, and how much it’s going to cost. She is very compassionate and if you ever have trouble paying she is always willing to work with you and even provide a discount. I could not recommend her enough.

As always, compassionate and understanding. I had to temporarily relocate over an hour away, but I will continue to see Dr. Schooley loyally after she handled Rocco's issue last summer.

This visit consisted of trimming Rocco's black and white nails #thatjackchilife. Let me tell you, I only trust this office to do it. Every single time, perfectly done with so much love. This is the first vet Rocco gets excited to visit.

Our cat Jinx is very vet anxious and has always misbehaved for every vet we've visited. No problem for our Team at Sunset Lakes Animal Clinic who readily provide the extra care and understanding he needs.

Today was my senior dogs first appointment at this clinic and it was the best experience I have ever had at the vets. The vet was fantastic, we had a great discussion on my dogs health, what needs to happen going forward, and how I can do that within my budget. The tech assisting her was also really kind and helpful. I look forward to future visits and know that both of my dogs will recieve excellent care.

Veterinarian is truly compassionate when I bring my cat to the veterinarian facility.

Wonderful experience and I wasn't personally there.
My mom and grandma took our 2 month old French bulldog due to a couple of problems. Everyone was nice and attentive to our concerns. From the front staff, vet tech and the lovely Dr. Schooley. She took the time to talk to me on the phone and explain everything to me and make me feel at ease. Would definitely recommend to bring your fur babies here. I was very worried for our little one and I can't wait to visit again for a check up.

I love how honest Dr. Schooly is. She says it as it is, no sugar coating. I also appreciated how she advised me to try a lower cost fix before spending money on allergy testing. I agree some services seemed over priced but if I can't do it myself, I need to pay someone else to do it. The meds are definitely overpriced and she admitted to that and advised me to shop around. And lastly I believe she yells/speaks loudly because she is partially deaf. Over all in the past 4yrs I really enjoyed this vet clinic.

This is the best vet clinic around. Dr. Schooley and her staff are friendly, professional and efficient. They took the time to get to know my pets and were so loving towards them. The office is kept very clean and organized. I highly recommend!

Since 1986 Dr. Mary Schooley has been our veterinarian. Four dogs and 2 cats later, she continues to be the most compassionate, kind and knowledgeable person we have ever had the privilege to know. My husband and I have often said that we wish our own personal physicians were as caring as Dr. Schooley.

What separates Dr. Schooley from previous vets we have known is that she truly loves the animals. We recently had to have our beloved 14 year old Terrier mix, Ally, put to sleep. Ally was the love of our lives. Dr. Schooley was so kind and loving to her (as she always was on any and all of our visits over 14 years) and allowed us time to be with our girl for as long as we needed. If you are a pet parent, you can imagine what that day was like. Dr. Schooley was such a comfort to us on that awful day and made sure our girl was comfortable and pain free. She is an excellent and dedicated veterinarian. We highly recommend Dr. Schooley and her entire caring staff.

They are the BEST! I travel an hour one way to go to Dr. Schooley. She and her staff genuinely care about you and your animals. I get called weekly to check up on my animals after my visit. I have a rescue and found 2 kittens on the road, she let me bring them in right away and she took tremendous care of them. Financially she will help you out in any way she can as she is not about money, but about the care of the animals. I understand the cost factor involved in caring for animals being in rescue so I understand that anything that a For Profit Vet can do or give is wonderful as nothing is free and everything cost a lot. I thank Dr. Schooley for helping me out so much with the rescue kittens so that I could give them the proper care they needed. I will continue to travel the hour for the BEST!

My 9 year old Labrador Retriever was very obese for his age, and his previous vet didn't tell us anything about it. When i started bringing him to Doctor Schooley, she immediately told me how much weight he needed to loose and what was the best way to do so. My Lab is now 85 pounds, down from 120 pounds, and in excellent health. Furthermore, Dr. Schooley noticed a small lump on his shoulder and recommended surgical removal. After the results came in, it turns out the tumor was a malignant one, but thanks to Dr. Schooley, the margins were clean and therefore the tumor had no chance of metastasizing. If you want a vet who truly cares about your animals and will be their best advocate, come to Dr. Schooley

I once read somewhere that to be a good veterinarian you have to care about
people. Dr Schooley really cares about you and your pet. She is genuine, honest,
smart and thorough. I wish I had known of her earlier, I think my Sheba would
still have a few more years with me. I would have been more educated on how to
care for her. Do yourself and your four legged family member a favor and visit

Omg!!!! What a great vet and staff! Professional, friendly and patient. Even after I had 1,000 questions they treated my kids and I like family. They treated my "Frankie" the best, like royalty 👑. I'm so glad and greatly that I met you.
