North Avenue Market

We were there for drinks for a friend's birthday in the Vault Bar downstairs. Drinks were spectacular! Unique place. I plan to come back to try the rest of the place out.

First time here and I’ll be back! Kinsey from a Taste of Java prepared a rich and robust latte for me and I had an outstanding yellow curry dish from the Asian Bowl place. Cool, relaxed vibe. Q the bartender was exceedingly kind in providing zippy friendly service with a smile and taught me all about bitters.

OMG, you guys, I feel I just found my new favorite restaurant, and I feel like a dummy for waiting so long to try it. To be honest, I didn't even know it was there. It's called Plant Joy and they make vegan meals that are ready to eat. Healthy, fast, affordable, and most importantly, full of flavor.

I'm worried that nobody knows about the food and drinks there. It's a beautiful Saturday, windows were open with an awesome breeze, and I was the only one eating. If you aren't into vegan, there's about 4 or 5 other places to eat and it all looked good. I need this place to survive.

Anyway, the Mulligatawny was sooo good.

Awesome venue with a wide variety of food and drinks.

There’s two levels of options with the ground level being more main entree oriented and the basement level being sweets.

The main level has a cocktail bar, coffee shop, boba tea, hot dogs, paninis & soups l, and bowls. The basement has cupcake, boozy milkshakes & ice cream and a speakeasy bar.

There’s also some common areas with games like bags and giant connect four regardless of the weather outside.

I hope this concept catches on in more areas and it’s a good way for small businesses to share a bigger location without the high rent or running a food truck.

This place is special! A must place to visit and enjoy. Plenty of room and very comfortable. Bar and food are excellent. The Vault Speakeasy downstairs is cool. Sessie, the bartender was awesome.

Visited Milwaukee to meet family for lunch. We decided to meet at the North Avenue Market. What a perfect venue for a relaxed family visit! A refreshing dragon fruit boba tea, a rich mocha, a carnitas bowl and veggie sandwich were particular highlights for our group of eight. Everything was delicious. Highly recommend!!

This is the best place in the whole metro for a bite to eat or a drink or to work or enjoy time with friends. Literally the best place, swear on a stack of bibles. Do not miss it.

Great spot for grabbing a quick bite, studying, working remotely all day, it just hanging out. You can tell that the owner - a great community member - put a lot of thought into the space. There’s something here for everyone - in terms of food (vegan, gluten free), drinks (NA drinks), and space.

I especially like the idea of the speakeasy down stairs. You can rent it out with friends on the weekends.

We’re so happy to have this in walking distance of our home. We plan on coming here lots! Very comfortable atmosphere with tons of food and beverage options. Make sure to check out the downstairs shops! I presume they’ll add some sort of signage to draw people to the stairs since it’s not very obvious right now that there is more downstairs.

What an excellent addition to North Avenue! I stopped in today to check it out and was pleasantly surprised at the variety and shops/restaurants and spaces. I had lunch at Farm Fresh Bowl (chipotle chicken and avocado wrap with fries) and it was great! Very generous size and enough for two meals for me. I didn’t get the woman’s name that took my order and served me but she was friendly, helpful, and professional, which made the experience even better! They even serve Sprecher root beer - thanks for supporting another Wisconsin business. I am looking forward to trying out all the food stands and don’t forget to go downstairs for some awesome looking desserts. 🙂

The space is really cool, but the people who work there gave it the warm and inviting atmosphere. The food at Dawg City and Pupuseria Los Angeles was made with love and served with the biggest smiles! The drink I ordered at Bittercube was delicious and very unique. I will definitely return for more chicken fries. Definitely recommend.

Beautiful atmosphere, very friendly bartenders, nice location. I really like the garage door kinda entrance, they can open it up on nice days and get a sweet breeze come through. The food at some of the vendors there can be hit or miss depending on the wait time it takes, but generally speaking, the whole building entity is really nice. Feels upscale, like a fancy community center, not just a posh bar. You should check it out.

The seasonal cocktails at bittercube were fantastic. The charcuterie board was nothing exotic but we'll executed none the less. We enjoyed the chill indoor outdoor vibe and all of the servers were courteous and helpful!

Stopped by here on Sunday for brunch. Love the decor/design. I had boba, a cupcake, and a breakfast bowl. The downstairs is for desserts and they have more seating. It would be cool if they host music down there at night. Hope to see more food vendors added :)

Darn good coffee and service! This is a place you need to check out. If you are in the mood for something to satisfy your sweet tooth, you will fall in love with the peanut butter cup latte. I also recommend sipping on some of the Brazil blend on drip any given day (or night).

Great place to go! The service was excellent and the manager is very friendly. We also did one of the private tastings at the downstairs bar and loved it.

Lovely place. The main bar serves well made drinks. There are a lot of tasty food places in the market and all of the vendors were friendly.

O my God where to start food is made fresh I will say this if you never had a Pupusea before u need to try it steak and cheese chicken pork or fried pork the 🌮 are Great Pupuseria Los Angeles

Great grown folk atmosphere. Good vibe. Hats off to Chris and the GM for creating this arena to mingle. I like the hours of operation.
