It was my first time here at Lindsay's Roost and they had a spaghetti special which includes, salad, spaghetti w/ meat sauce and garlic bread for about $9 per person but the portions are good size. My father-in-law and I took half our spaghetti home because the salad was big and filling. All of it is made right there and the servers and owner are all really nice. There are 2 dining rooms and one room with a pool table. The first room is decorated in roosters and the second has claw machines and a jukebox. The room with the pool table has several Elvis decorations. My 3 kids loved the claw machines there two because you play until you win and of course kids love to win. It was a great experience and I hope to be back soon!

What an awesome place!!! Great food and azing charm! We were in town staying at the Omni Homestead. The portions were plentiful. The service spot on and we were made to feel right at home! We had great food and enjoyed our time. It was such a huge value compared to what was available at the resort.

Very happy to find this place while staying at the homestead resort. Food was good (and very reasonable pricing) and it was nice to have a break from the resort. Both the trout and the country fried steak were great. Would also be a great place to get breakfast.

My wife and stopped in for lunch. The decor is a little dated, but the Southern Charm on the gentleman behind the bar was very nice and he made us feel right at home. The burger was very good and the price was affordable. If we're ever in the area again, we will return.

The place is a short drive from the Bolar Mountain Campground. We went here for breakfast on Sunday morning. Standard American food menu. We had egg and sausage sandwiches, and they were tasty. An owner is a funny man with plenty of jokes to keep you entertained.

Classic gem of a hometown eatery! Great home made food made by people that care. Places like this are few and far between. This is the kind of place every small town needs! When in Hot Springs go support this amazing local business!

A cold beer and the Hamburger Steak after a day of Trout Fishing hit the spot! Bill had the Philly Cheesesteak, both were great!

Great people. Great Food. Excellent hospitality. Nice location in "downtown". Nice little spot to eat outside also. Plenty of room inside, with some great Elvis memorabilia, bars, games, pool table and tables.

Awesome, tasty, in-house made, reasonably priced dinner, from a true character, Robert Lindsay, proprietor, who will be 80 in January 2023. Stop by to wish him a happy Birthday on behalf of his new friends from Toronto. Thanks for the laughs and hospitality!

Me and friend ordered some comfort food after warmspring. It felt like a family restaurant straight up from the 70s.

Pretty darn good food, very affordable. When you spend all your money at the Homestead's room and activities, this is definitely a place to eat.
Got the Lindsay's Burger and fries for 9 bucks.

Good, down home food in good portions! They only accept cash, check, or Venmo, but they do have an ATM inside. We met the owner's daughter, who was warm and friendly.

Came in as a party of 6 on vacation from out of state. The staff were speedy and super friendly. The food came out better than we could of hoped. Everyone enjoyed their meals and we all left happy and full! 1000 % recommend. Will definitely stop again if I get the chance.

Our family found a hidden gem in the heart of Hot Springs, VA. This is a family diner with the friendliest service and great food. The owner warmly greeted us and made sure we felt like we were part of the family. It’s a simple and budget friendly menu, especially if you want a break from the boujee options around the resort. All of our food was great, but the cheesesteak was incredible. Expect more of a “dive” atmosphere than anything modern and upscale, but that’s part of the experience. Thank you Robert for a warm, at home meal for our family.

A+ Service! You can tell the owners really care about their customers and they are so friendly! I was greeted by the charming owner Robert Lindsay as I came in the door. Our take out order was ready on time and we were provided with extra condiments and drink cups at no additional charge. I will go back again and again to support this local business. Also, you do not need to get all dressed up to go here like other restaurants in Hot Springs, which is nice.

What a great little find for local colour and genuine Warm Springs hospitality.
Robert and Phyllis made a point of offering a genuine welcome stopping for a chat at our table. Reasonable prices and straightforward Southern fare. Really glad we went in.
