El Patron Restaurant

It's been a few years since we've been back since moving away. Food was amazing, lost cost compared to everywhere else and authentic, reminds of home cooked meals. They do their own baking and the tres leches is amazing, everything was delicious. After the years we were extremely glad they are still top quality and beats the other places in the valley on quality and cost and better then the places down by Philly we used to frequent.

5 star restaurant. If you are looking for authentic Mexican food at a low price, this is it. Don’t look any further! I was hardcore craving chicken enchiladas with rice and refried beans, and El Patron’s dish hit every spot. The lovely lady taking orders was so warm and inviting, and she asked me questions to make sure I didn’t have any allergies and would be okay with some spice. I totally recommend this gem of a restaurant in Allentown! I drove fairly far to get to it, and it was worth every mile! Do it! (I took this picture after a few bites because I couldn’t wait to dive in!)

The food was outstanding! I had questions and the staff was pleasant in answering them. I will definitely go again. They were great will dietary options as well.

So I read some of the bad reviews and I have no clue where these folks actually ate. I have been here before but just rediscovered and introduced friends to El Patron. The place is warm and friendly but not fancy. The service is also very friendly and very laid back. The star is the food. Everything is delicious, authentic and plentiful. The only tough part can be parking but try it, you will fall in love.

Wow, the food here was absolutely phenomenal. So authentic and delicious, and the service was so friendly and welcoming. It's a great place to sit and talk and have some delicious, affordable food.

This place is an awesome hole in the wall spot with fantastic food and really affordable prices. We ordered the chicken empanadas, chicken burrito, and chicken chimichanga and everything was delicious! They have a really tasty hot sauce that went well with everything we ordered. I would recommend that everyone stop in this place and enjoy an affordable yet delicious meal!

Wonderful food! I used to live I. The southwest US and it reminded me of Mexican restaurants in Arizona. The verde enchiladas are amazing.

This is one of my FAVORITE places to eat. It's authentic, it's fresh, it's family owned, and the atmosphere is peaceful and an absolute breath of fresh air. The prices are amazing, I got a Chimichanga and it was HUGE! For less than $12 and including complimentary chips and salsa, rice, and beans. As you can see there was huge portions and everything is so cheaply priced. You can tell all the food is freshly and homemade. It's worth much more than what you pay. This is mine and my man's new date spot. Plus an AWESOME bakery with delicious goodies freshly made! 💙🥰

This place is AWESOME. Super inexpensive and delicious. You know it's a great time when the front desk person just starts speaking in Spanish to you!

The shredded chicken was off the chain no matter what you ordered it on but the chimichanga was off the chain!!

Incredible Mexican food made by people that genuinely care! I’d argue that it’s definitely among the best in the valley for low key dinners. Definitely recommend the chimichanga

I am so excited to be writing this review because this place is amazing! They always get the order right (ordered delivery), it is always hot and delicious, and really the best authentic flavor. The tacos are packed, the chimichangas crisp, the quesadillas topped, and the rice and beans is out of this world good. Highly recommend, also their desserts are great too!

We’ve driven by this place a million times and finally tried it for our anniversary. Let me tell you this place exceeded my expectations for it (which were high, based on their rating). Fantastic food!!! We will definitely be making this one of our regular spots!

I've been here twice... This place is a hidden gem... I just had the best traditional steak enchilada I've ever had in my life. The chef is Mexican and the owner is Dominican, and they make some of the best Flan, tres leches and Dominican cakes you can buy (so good in fact that they sell to other restaurants). So glad I found this place. The place is small and not much to look at, better than most Mexican restaurants in the area, but nothing to brag about. But this place is all about the food.

This place is a gem! I had the mole enchiladas and was very satisfied with the flavor. My wife had the fajitas and they were excellent as well. She especially like the guacamole. Will definitely return.

I was craving authentic Mexican food and ended up finding this place and I couldn’t have been any more satisfied! El patron is a hidden gem. I ended up getting enchiladas with rice and beans and tres leches cake for dessert. My honey got the same thing and I kid you not we were talking about how amazing of a meal it was for hours... our new go to place for sure !!! 10/10 ⭐
