Good river access for launching canoes or kayaks. Easy parking lot with pumped water from the river. Picnic table & trash can available. Located right behind the old, large Bassett Furniture plant. If you launch at the lower dam, you could pull out here - there is a sign in the river facing upstream to let the paddlers know they reached this access point.

This is a nice, quiet place to canoe the Smith River, or go fly fishing! You can wade in the River on a sunny day! A picnic table, but be advised there is not a restroom.😎
