A special thank you to Miss Williams at community action. I've seen a lot of bad reviews and just adding my personal experience. We are a hardworking couple with children and CAAD helped us with rental assistance. The process was lengthy but totally worth it in the end. My advice is to get there in person as soon as you possibly can and have all documents ready!

OMG, this place is amazing. Everyone in there is so nice. Shout out to Ms.Womack supported me through a tough time when I needed words of encouragement. You cannot imagine how much your support and help has meant to me and my family Delaware community actions you guys are amazing. Once again thank you so much Ms.Womack you’re a wonderful person. I love how hard and dedication you are at work and making sure families get help we need. 🥰☺🙏🏾👏🏽

Always greeted with a smile and knowledge of service's available. It's great to see the longevity of Agency's staff The hallways are filled with CAADC history of helping our Citizens

From the time I was greeted by the secretary till I was finished with my appointment Mr Jones I absolutely had a fabulous experience.. Mr Jones couldn't have been more kind a understanding.. He truly was a ray of positivity making me feel much better about my circumstances.. Kudos to him..

I want to thank everyone who I had dealings with from the instant we walked into the building. I want to especially thank the woman who answers the phone as well as multi tasks her self with such grace and pleasantness to the intake woman who took my information making sure she was not making mistakes as well as treating me like a person not a number. The place has been packed with people who are in need of help with a large array of the services offered. I am grateful for the opportunity to be in the company of such helpful, kind women who understands the need for help. I have a suspicion some of them may have been in the shoes of the very people who they are helping. Thank you again ladies for making me feel okay with needing help. I did not feel even once like I was looked down upon. Keep up the great work.

You need to press the ring doorbell & step back so you are close to the yellow traffic pole so they can see you. Someone will greet you & ask for the reason for your visit & then you will meet with someone who screen your temperature before entering the building due to manitory procedures due to Corona Virus (Covid-19) pandemic. Also to the left is a foamed hand sanitizer machine that you can use before entering the rest of the building and opon exiting. I came in today to sign some papers & I was done real quickly today. They're usually quick anyways. With every bit information you have to deal with when it was the usual way. Now because of the pandemic you can process more things over the phone & email. Take pictures of you can't fax anything. Any finalizations can be done in person. It was super quick. You might have to sign a little more to confirm your temperature was good & date it. Everything else already has a set date & mostly you have to initial things depending what you type situation they're helping you and or family with. Which is like one or 2 minutes tops. The person signs their name who is wrapping everything up for you & you are on your way with the rest of your day. Very nice caring people who love doing their job & helping people to receive mercy during these tough times especially. Don't forget to vote so you are helping out all these programs because with out you the voter they would not exist. You picking the right president, senator, mayor, governor, state representative helps with all government programs & helps with more jobs so they can provide for themselves and their families and other loved ones. Go vote!!!

They were nice people from the vita program who did our taxes.

Oh great experience, polite secretaries and very knowledgeable and professional intake workers. They are all VERY anxious to assist consumers with their housing needs.

They help people out that needs shelter/rent help. They only help on your rent. If you make enough money too cover your rent. Check them out. If you need help. They will help you out if you need the help. Call them too ask what you need. Too get the help.

Thus place is very helpful. There are so many different programs. If you need assistance this is the best place to go.

I went here after being evicted from my home with 3children I was placed in a motel and had to only wait 35 days to move in my brand new house with security deposit help from ccadc

The best place to get help for shut off notices for PECO, AQUA, rent help, etc.

Go at 8am or as early as possible!

Nicole Overby, Carol and Amy are the most dedicated workers when it comes to aiding the needs of the community.

The staff was great. And they helped us when we needed them.
