The Big Easy

This place is so amazing. The food is the best I have had in forever. The bread and Cajun cream sauce is mind blowing. The chefs are so sweet and extremely talented. Even said the food is made with love and you can taste it. Our waitress was Savannah and she has such a sweet, bubbly personality and made us feel like we have been friends forever. Run, don't walk, to this place for fantastic food, great people and nice atmosphere.

I had the Pontchartrain Chicken, it was incredible!!!! My friend had the Red Snapper, amazing!!! He went back a few days later and got Shrimp & Rice. I'm from Louisiana, so I know Cajun Food. What surprised me...none of the cooks were from Louisiana!!! This meal was as good as the best I've ever had. The Margaritas were very good too. Highly recommend!!

I went last year and was not impressed. Decided to give it a second chance today and was pleasantly surprised. The food was great! I don’t know if they changed owners/management or maybe the cooks but this time around it was actually good. Will definitely be back and highly recommend it. They also added crawfish boils to the menu which is awesome.

I did notice the restaurant is bigger now. I’m not sure if it was always this big but there is plenty of room to accommodate heavy traffic days. One thing I loved is that all doors were opened and the breeze was flowing through. Great for the hot days.

With the exception of the greeter, this was a great place to stop in for dinner. We came for dinner and were met with a dirty look by the greeter. It was very noticeable. After that everything was fine, we were seated promptly and our waiter was kind and pleasant. She made us feel very welcome. There was a live artist singing as we ate. The food was delicious and the drinks were on point.

Came in for a quick lunch, extremely satisfied! Crayfish fried perfectly, bread was crisp and soft, and the veggies were fresh and clean. Waiter was extremely attentive as well. Zero complaints!! Will be back!

I found my N’Orleans home- ‘The Big Easy’ in Ocoee, FL. New Orleans food at its finest ... I got the Boudin Balls ( pork ) - I prefer catfish or crawfish boudin. They were just as good as the ones I got at Tony’s in Baton Rouge.. but, that Shrimp Po’Boy, oh yea!!!! The bread is imported from Leidenheimer - yes it’s the real thing . Flaky crust, fully loaded, shrimp fried to perfect crispness...added the remoulade w/ ketchup, —- sorry I had a moment.. that first bite and I was back in LA.. sloppy good .. will be going back ... well worth the ride and price .. all orders were to go and sealed

Food was delicious. Friendly service. Outdoor, bar and dining seating. Great drink specials. Will definitely be back!

Been in Florida for 3 1/2 years, best meal around. Recommending the Crab Cake po boy, and the Bayou Pasta, The Big Easy beignet was amazing.

Ordering the burger and getting was easy and fast. The staff are very nice and organized. Full bar and good atmosphere. The presentation of the burger was very good. The flavor was on point. Thanks to all who prepared my lunch.

I was amazed at all the options on the menu. Great brunch and lunch menus. If you want a taste of New Orleans, they have just about everything you could get your hands on in the Big Easy. Great staff and service. Definitely will return.

We are new to the area and have found our new favorite cajun restaurant! I'm from cajun country and let me tell you this food was on point! Lauralee was such a fun waitress and we loved the live music!

Visited The Big Easy today for lunch and yesterday for breakfast. Absolutely enjoyed the biscuits and sausage gravy, but the egg, cheese and turkey sausage sandwich was just your basic breakfast sandwich. ( not bad though)In total we spent under 20.00 with tip and drinks. We were completely satisfied with the overall experience. It was clean, great location and the waitress was attentive and nice. We decided to return for lunch to try some of the lunch specials due to the good experience the day before. We tried the shrimp and grits and red beans and rice. Being a cajun style eatery, the shrimp and grits was tasty, but the red beans and rice was okay. I have visited New Orleans and the red beans and rice here, does not exactly compare to red beans and rice in New Oeleans- but it was not bad. I think it's a great place for a 1st date and definitely in the summer. It appears they have bay doors that open up and in the summer that would offer a great breeze and summer weather. We plan another visit for desserts and to try some more of the menu. In the end, it's worth a try and for an average date night entree, expect to spend around 30 to 40 bucks without spirits. Breakfast, on the other hand, though the menu is light, maybe a better value. Will add another review after the next visit.

*** Since my last review, we have added this eatery to our monthly weekend breakfast spots. We normally go out to eat for breakfast on the weekends and have a rotation of places we frequent. The Big Easy has replaced one of those eateries, mainly because of the amazing biscuits and gravy, as well as other breakfast foods, location and the attentive friendly service!

*** Update*** The Big Easy is - just about a weekly Sunday visit. Our server Lora is the most amazing person. She knows exactly how we like our breakfast... Ask for Lora, you won't be disappointed! The food is still delicious and the Biscuits and Gravy is outstanding! Hats off to the awesome Chefs.

I had the Mahi Sandwich and hubby had the Shrimp PoBoy Sandwich. Both were so fresh and delicious. There was some live music and the waitress was a sweetheart - that's her behind me 😁. Great place.

Dinner was fantastic! Isabella was our FABULOUS server!! She was very attentive and super sweet!! EXCELLENT SERVICE! We will be back! :)

First time here and the food was delicious! We started off with the appetizer sampler, then had the red fish dinner and Estelles dish it was flavorful beyond my expectations.

Since im from new orleans , I can be a hard critic. I usually stay away from new orleans cuisine outside of NOLA. I tried this place for a quick lunch and was highly impressed. I needed a great po boy . the Oyster loaf "dressed"( how we order in NOLA) ....it came out perfect! The french bread alone took me on a trip back home. "Dresssed" lettuce, tomato , pickle...Fresh Oysters fried perfect and delicate. Chicken gumbo was delicious. I had a great time getting to know more about the place. I will only come here to get my tase of back home. Speaking of that... i'm going now!

Stopped here for dinner on a whim and very happy we did! That evening they had all windows and doors open so it was great being able to enjoy the weather. Very friendly and attentive service. The food was definitely prepared on-site and everything was delicious. The fried green tomatoes, shrimp, jambalaya were excellent and even the hush puppies were outstanding. I don’t usually eat them because I don’t care for them but they were delicious here.

This is a place we’ll bring our guests to if they want some Cajun food. We’re looking forward to going back!

The bayou pasta is the BEST by far, and the mojito's... holy #*%$. Isabel's attention is VIP. 120% recommended
