Riverside Cafe

These ladies know exactly what they're doing on the grill....pancakes cooked to perfection. Everyone at our table cleaned their plates. No frills breakfast filled us up for a day of walking. Can't wait to come back and be a regular!

We tried this place for the first time last week and we were greatly impressed! The staff was friendly from the moment we walked into the door. Our server was very attentive and the food was well prepared and delicious!

The Riverside Cafe on the banks of the Appomatox River is one of the best cafes I've ever visited..Its quaint ..old fashioned atmosphere is outstanding..Salmon & Eggs are a truly a treat at this eatery in Central Virginia..Its in the historic district .Give it a try..7:30- 3:00 daily...☆☆☆☆☆

Place was nice comfortable, good food quick service.

I cannot appreciate more how wonderful the server and owner treated us. My heart was warmed to experience such a family friendly environment. The food was special and although I am visiting, I plan to return again. I encourage anyone to support this business.

My wife and I are sitting here, enjoying wraps and talking with the owner - very nice, family run business. Definitely worth the stop!

My family and I had the pleasurer of having breakfast there on Saturday. I was a one of the best breakfasts I have ever had at a restaurant. The prices were very adequate for the portions the portions were great. I am a big guy and love a hardy breakfast and that is what I got. Our server was first class he was pleasant and very attentive. Over all I would give it a five star rating.

Have enjoyed the food and service each time we have visited. Great for breakfast or lunch.

We went there 2 mornigs for breakfast and the food wasvery good and our server was so nice and very observent to our needs. Will definatly return.

Absolutely delicious! Friendly and fresh made. The biscuits and French toast are the best I can remember having. I also had a veggie omelet that was amazing. The grilled the veggies prior to adding to the omelet. We were passing through town unfortunately so we won't be returning but we HIGHLY recommend.

I absolutely love this place!!! The breakfast is perfect!! The service is stellar!!! The lady that cooks is amazing!!! She is so good at what she does, I begged her to adopt me!!!! I stop there every time I'm in Farmville!!! The other diner can't compare on any level!!!! It's clean, very friendly, and a homey, calm, & quiet atmosphere!!!! My new home away from home!!!!!

Excellent strong coffee, exactly what I was looking. And the food was very tasty as well. I ordered two eggs with bacon, potatoes and a biscuit. The bacon was crispy and the biscuit buttered to perfection. Nice cozy place.
