I’ve gone to the same Braider for the last 20 years. Due to a recent move to Wisconsin, I needed a new braider. I chose to drive the two hours to Milwaukee to visit Mary’s. The braiding team that did my hair was exceptional. My hair is flawless. Not a single strand out of place. Neat, even, small box braids with curled ends. Fast efficient service. Needless to say, I will return, and recommend this professional braid salon to all that asks where my hair was braided. Exceptional!

I been going to Mary for my goddess and feed-in braids back when she was at this one shop (Aicha's African Braiding). I didn't set an appointment but she got me in and out of the shop with no problem. The shop was clean and I didn't leave the shop with a headache.

I would definitely be coming back to Mary African Hair Braiding shop. Everyone was nice and professional. I got the Senegalese Twist and they were beautifully done. All my twist were the same size and even. If you get serviced here you would not be disappointed.

I decide to do braids yesterday for the first time. I absolutely love it!! they are very professional and they sure are talented!! Just sitting down and watching the other clients’s results, it felt like hair braid show!! I am definitely coming back!! These pics are for the day after, intact!! My only braider got me right her and her mother make you feel like family she is so open about her skills and will send you out with a style that is not anything short of amazing she and her staff are the fastest I've ever seen! She has really great price! I came today for box braids and left out 3 hours later! So I give her and her staff the up most respect! Very clean environment bathroom included! I called Saturday night after 9pm and was scheduled for Sunday morning. Mary went straight to work on my head. When I say I died and came back to life people. It was worth it. Mary, slayed my braids!!!!!! This is my first time going to Mary and I will be a regular for as long as she is braiding. If you are looking for someone to do your braids RIGHT. Mary's is the place to go!!! I love my hair.

I had a great experience at Mary’s African Braiding today! I wasn’t sure what style was good for my hair (very thin, edges are short) so that I could maintain growth and not lose any and Mary helped me with that, making things easier right away lol. The shop was very clean and quiet, not to mention located in a nice area. The environment is professional, comfortable, and seemingly family friendly. On top of all that, she finished my braids in a timely matter, probably sooner as I had to be at work. She had me out of the chair on time and my hair was neatly and beautifully done. I’ll be back next month for a retouch!

This is my 2nd time getting my box braids done at Mary's and I LOVE it! The first time Mary took me in last minute as a previous hair braider forgot about my appointment and I appreciated that.
