To start, I suffer from debilitating OCD, depression and anxiety 🙃 😞....I have the best Veterinarian in the world outside of this clinic, but I think I found the runner up....Dr. Megan was compassionate, kind, honest, sweet, professional and trustworthy. Soooooo many things to describe a veterinarian that I have only found in one person in the last 10 years!!!!!! I walked in not having an appointment 🙃, but they got me in thinking my 10 year old chihuahua had a mass under her arm. Dr. Megan could have like EVERY OTHER vet clinic in the Milwaukee area recommend a thousand dollars of diagnostics, but she reassured me that the mass was a fatty mass that I knew was true, but needed a good doctor to reassure me as my brain doesn't work right unfortunately. Dr. Megan was that AWESOME person!!!! Dr. Megan again could have taken my strict budget money from me as a VERY CONCERNED pup owner, but she has morals and compassion. I came in crying 😢 with anxiety and left crying 😢 with gratitude because of Dr. Megan, Adriana, Sarah, and Grace. I do have a special shout out to Sarah because if she didn't fit me in, I would have never had this experience. You all are a blessing from God.

P.S Veterinarians in the Milwaukee area....you should take a lesson from Dr. Megan as a young amazing Veterinarian to treat concerned honest pet owners with respect and dignity.

My pups have only received care at this clinic. From the front desk and up to the treatment areas, the care, the welcome, the respect for your concerns, is exemplary. Very clean, too. But the only negative is the parking, it's on a very busy public street. I'd recommend if possible to have someone drive, while the passenger is able to take their pup(s) for care into the clinic. Drivers in the area are inattentive, rushing, and speeding.

Center for Animal Health is a great place to take your pet. They are compassionate and listen with empathy. I have never felt hurried along; They have always listened patiently to my plethora of questions. I woof :-) choose them if I were you.

The staff at Center for Animal Health are uniformly pleasant, concerned and engaged with providing attentive, top notch and cost-effective care for my dog. It really meant a it to me that the day after our visit I received a follow-up text to make sure that he was continuing to do well.

Very friendly and professional staff. I have two cats that I brought from overseas and they have been taking care of them perfectly. First and annual appointments, vaccines, and medication as well.

They use an app to keep track on everything and that is very helpful for me as a pet owner.

Really helpful, kind and courteous. Don't let the small storefront fool you; these vets and techs have large hearts and sure know what they're doing. UPDATE: I have now been using this veterinarian for a few years, and I can tell you that I have absolute faith in her. As for the practice, I cannot speak to the quality of anyone other than our vet, other than to say that the vet techs and everyone at the front desk have all been wonderful on more than one occasion.

I needed some help collecting urine from my cautious chiwawa. He wasn't having any of it. Anyway, the staff were so patient with my dog and understanding of my struggle we made it happen, together:)

Fantastic veterinarians… Everybody was so warm and welcoming, and very concerned… Set up a nice plan for me for bringing my big boy back for some shots and a check up and I think they all fell in love with him… And he felt very comfortable there too he wasn’t scared at all

I got an appt for my boys' annual visit right away. Members of the staff, especially Sarah/Sara at the front desk, are great. Very professional, friendly and helpful. The doctors are always attentive and affectionate toward my fur boy kitties, Opie and Milo. Four paws up!

Dr Lavetter is very caring and up front with everything. We saw her at a previous clinic and when she was no longer there and we had misdiagnosis I immediately did some research to find where she was. It's worth the drive from Menomonee falls to see her. She immediately remembered us and especially lily. She always gains her trust and takes very good care of our furbaby. The techs are also very caring. I would and have recently referred a friend to see her.

We started going to Center for Animal Health when Dr. Zaeske owned the practice. There were a few hiccups after he sold, which is typical, but they were so minor, they didn't make us consider switching. Today the practice runs like a well-oiled machine. Each and every staff member has been super friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and they make you feel like you and your pets are part of their family. They are completely up front about the pricing and each time we've called with an urgent request they've been quick and very accommodating. And Dr. La Vetter is the absolute best! We've already told her she can never retire!!

We've been to a handful of practices over the years. Sure, a few may have been a little less expensive, but you truly get what you pay for. You're just a number to them. They don't get on the floor with your animal to gain their trust before doing an exam or administering vaccines. They don't remember details about your pet and make you feel like yours is the cutest and most amazing pet in the universe. And they make you wait, long after your scheduled appointment, sometimes for 30 minutes to several hours, in the exam room. And they surprise you at the end with unexpected charges that they didn't disclose up front.

With Center for Animal Health your pet will receive top-notch care and they are great with communication whether it's a reminder about upcoming services that are due for your pet, medication refill reminders, or changes in clinic hours. We wouldn't go anywhere else!

The vet is really nice and friendly. The assistants were as well. My cat is definitely not used to going to the vet but they took care of him.

The team is caring and welcoming! The vets and vet techs always answer my questions, and my dogs love coming! (The cats are happy once they're out of the carriers!)

We love bringing our pets here- Dr LaVetter is the best!

Great veterinarians, I like that they show you the bill of what they want to do and discuss it first in case you need to change things if you don't have enough money. They didn't judge me when I took Koda there smelling like dead animal, because I took him to the park before.

The team at Center for animal health is fantastic. Our vet Dr. Lavetter has been truly incredible. She is super responsive and always sends us test results as soon as she has them. She goes above and beyond for her patients and we really appreciate that. The staff including but not limited to Grace and Miranda are wonderful and always eager to help. Our dog loves coming here.

Took my dog Reggie in for his check up and vaccines and was so happy to see all the changes to the clinic. The new furniture and fresh coat of paint has really brightened up the waiting room and I appreciated the hot coffee available on such a cold day to help warm up while I waited for my appointment. Everyone was so nice and the new female doctor was so good with Reggie and made me feel very comfortable. The exam rooms were very clean and the clinic as a whole smelled really good, it was amazing that they have animals going in and out all day. I will miss Dr. Z but I am very happy with all the positive changes the new owners have made and look forward to coming back to the clinic year after year. Thanks for the great care of Reggie and I!

While our now "senior" dog will NEVER enjoy going to any vet's office (and never has her whole life), The Center for Animal Health makes every attempt to make her feel at ease. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The location is very convenient for us (we can walk). We feel very good about the care being given to our current Lab and did about our last Lab mix. I would recommend this facility highly.

My husband and I were sad to hear that Dr. Zaeske sold his practice, because we loved him, his excellent bedside manner, and his expertise. After reading mixed Google reviews about the changes at the clinic, I was leery of taking my dog in for his annual vaccines & exam. I was considering the possibility that I'd have to take him elsewhere in the future. I was pleasantly surprised when I took him in today. I arrived a couple minutes early for his appointment, and they got us in right away. Staff were professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. Eddie, my dog, seemed comfortable and was not nervous around staff. Dr. Williams took her time in explaining procedures & prices and the reasons for the cost increases where applicable. I'm grateful to have this clinic in my neighborhood, and I'm pleased to feel comfortable with continuing Eddie's care so close to home.
