Dough Boys Pizzeria & Italian Restaurant of Pembroke Pines

We always order out whenever I visit my parents. Simple cheese and also deluxe pizza. Ingredients are fresh and flavorful. Sauce is also great tasting. Crust is perfect with right seasoning. My only wish is having a thicker base as it’s not able to hold the weight of the toppings. No biggie and not a deal breaker, just a thought. Won’t change me coming back again and again.

I wasn't sure what to expect at Doughboys where we met family for lunch. The family member that picked this spot used to work for the Pembroke Pines Parks Department and visited many times on his lunch break. We got the large middle table in the tiny dining room. We ordered at the counter and were disappointed to see there was no option to get ice tea with refills. They sell bottles of tea, but since we always get a refill or two with unsweet tea when we go out for lunch, it would be too expensive to pay for individual bottles the way it's offered at Doughboys. When our food was ready, we dug in and enjoyed everything: pizza, eggplant with a meatball, calzone and a salad. The calzone was amazing and the eggplant parmigiana was the best anywhere. We concluded that this place was popular with the guys from the Parks Department for a good reason, it's the great Italian food. The guys behind the counter were super friendly, greeting us when we walked in and as we dined at the big center table. My recommendation for management would be to brew up some tea, and put it out in urns (sweet, unsweet) for customers next to the soft drink fountain dispenser that's there. Not everyone drinks cokes. It would be a no-brainer, as ice tea is such a popular beverage with meals when people go out for a meal.

I've loved this place for years! Came back with my girlfriend and sister for lunch and enjoyed the warm pasta. Wish more people stopped by this small Italian gem in Pembroke Pines.

The best Italian/pizza/pasta place around town!!! If you want delicious, fresh, authentic food - this is the place to go!!!! The pizzas are perfect, with the best crust, not too much sauce, and the right amount of cheese!!! The calzones are our favorite. We will never get a calzone elsewhere…this is the only place we’ve ordered them from, for 15 years. Last week, we ate inside with our kids and had a great experience as well. You order at the counter and then sit down. The young guy (I wish I knew his name) was so attentive and was a great waiter! We love doughboys and highly recommend it!

For 42 years.. not any more . The pizzas at Doughboys hands down are the best . True New York pizza and we’ve eaten at Umberto’s in little Italy in New York City and years ago at the parlor on Long Island owned by Vic Damone’s family! This is true NEW York pizza. Sweet

Very good Italian food. I'm from NY and haven't been able to find Italian food that satisfies me until I found Dough Boys. It's a little casual place but they get very busy.

It was a very nice experience. A worker named Luis was very helpful and assisted me with a great demeanor. If could give 10 stars I would great experience.

Been coming here since I moved to town, they have one of the best pizzas imo if you like cheesy, New York style. I do agree that some ingredient has changed whether it be cheese or crust but still good and staff is fast and friendly!

Wow I went in to buy a gift card I'm at two wonderful professional gentleman that were very patient and allowed me to get the gift card that I wanted. I had a slice I have to admit forget Pizza Hut. I love the service Andrew was a doll and the other gentleman I didn't get his name but he was very nice and very patient I really appreciated their help and I will be back soon

I can’t say enough good things about this place! The food is delicious, affordable and large portions. The staff is beyond amazing, they are friendly and very efficient. Libby is the best!!! My mom has early onset Alzheimer’s and they treat her so well every time we come here that she remembers them although not by name. Even when busy the orders are on time and well cooked. Thank you Dough Boys family for being so amazing 💕

Had the pleasure of meeting Austin and Louis. They are true gentleman and friendly counter employees. They were knowledgeable about the different pizzas and made great suggestions. They even let me taste the Margarita Pizza fresh out of the oven. It was delicious! Give Doughboys a try you won’t regret. The staff will take great care of you. Excellent pizza and customer service. They have the best chicken Parmesan and the best fettuccine Alfredo. I love this place. They are affordable and nice and clean. What can you ask for?

Everything there is super fresh. My only complaint is when you get takeout you need to put cardboard on the bottom so you don’t burn your hands and bend the inexpensive metal plate. The lasagna needs the cardboard to stay steady. I burn my hands and the sauce also spilled out.

Recently moved here from New Jersey and couldn't find any Pizzeria/Italian Restaurant that were up to standards, today I ordered a chicken parm dinner which is my favorite food and I was pleasantly surprised how close it came to the food I was used to in New Jersey, the portions were enough for two people which again is what I am used to. I will be returning to Dough Boys as a regular customer.

The food is delicious, the portions are big and they are very friendly!!! I will definitely be back to Doughboys for Italian food over the other local places.

Im born and raised in the Bronx and being in Florida there Sicilian , regular slice,chicken parm,baked ziti, and lasagna brought me back to NY. The service was great.
