Dr Lakhan and the whole crew at this VCA provide consistently stellar service! VCA Silver Lakes is remarkably organized, attentive, and caring. They excel in handling my cat Tucker with love and expertise. Their knowledge and willingness to go the extra mile really makes all the difference.

I changed twice vets before finding this VCA Silverlakes does a very good job. I feel it's well managed. Vet assistants do a great job and even remember the symptoms of my dogs last visit. One feels quite supported. My vet is also very good and listens.
I must also mention the excellent groomer. The best I have ever had for a poodle. She went out of her way using some of her own products for the red paws.

I have had three dogs and I have been a client of this place for more than 10 years. I recently bought my third puppy in Petland by University and I was directed to their vet in the same plaza ad part of my purchase. After 2 months with me Bailey always had soft stool and diarrhea. That vet they recommended me jjust wanted to do more exams but gave me nothing that will help my labrador.

I decided to take her to VCA last Friday as I trust them, after just one day of Bailey taking her prescriptions she finally pooped normal 😊😊. Doctor Jennifer Lorenzo is awesome and I am really glad I switched vets for Bailey. She feels happier than ever!!!

I have been coming to Dr. Kuhn with my pets for 10+ years and I’ve never had a bad experience here, ever. Everyone from the front desk to the lab techs are so helpful and friendly and answer any and all questions. Dr. Kuhn has saved my dog’s life on multiple occasions and will stop at nothing to make sure your pet is cared for and happy. Highly recommend VCA silver lakes!!

Had an emergency with my dog Luna, and the staff was so quick to schedule her in and make time for her. Luna is a timid dog, and they did everything possible to calm her, make the environment perfect for her. Nurses were beyond caring and gentle and I could not have asked for more. Wendy in the front desk did a wonderful job explaining all the charges and breaking everything down. Truly satisfied with the care my dog received. You can really see the love they have for animals, and its comforting to know my dog was in good hands while getting procedures done. 5 Stars recommending to friends.

Just started taking my wheaten terrier here and love it.
So far the staff and Vet, Dr. Lorenzo, have been very accommodating (I have 2 little humans who come along for the appointments).
My dog has rough skin allergies. Dr. Lorenzo and the techs have been working closely with me to provide her relief. She’s much improved since we started treatment! My 9 year old dog is acting like she’s 3 years old all over again ☺.
I also appreciate the flexible hours, financial breakdown of services, and pet health plan options that are available for consideration.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience here with Dr. Ramirez. My cat is 17 years old and my little baby. She gets constipation ever so often and this time I had to bring her in to a vet … she hasn’t been in 17 years so you can imagine I was very nervous! From the second I called to the moment we walked in everyone there was so nice, caring and professional! I even had to take her back today for a check up no charge. I live about 25 minutes away but will definitely make the drive over and over again. 5 stars!

I have been going to Dr. Kuhn and the amazing staff for many years. They are so very caring, helpful and treat my dog and me with the utmost respect. Dr. Kuhn cares about all of her patients and their animals. She is the best vet and she is thorough and an expert in her field. I value her opinion and always follow her instructions as animals are her number one priority in her practice. I am so very happy that she is my dog's vet. I appreciate Dr. Kuhn and her kind staff and feel lucky that I found them!

We took our puppy Tyten as an emergency at 7:15 pm, mind you they close at 7:30. He was hyper salivating, had vomited and had a seizure about 30 minutes before we arrived. We were freaking out about our puppy’s health and what caused this. Josh took immediate care of our puppy and had such a positive attitude, which was comforting because we were extremely nervous. Tyten’s gums were cleaned and he was back to normal. Josh sent us home with food, positive vibes, and an appointment for the next day. All of the staff are kind, respectful and empathetic. Dr. Lorenzo took her time with me and Tyten and ensured he got the best care. We only had Tyten for 4 days before this happened and we are first time dog parents. Looks like Tyten found his vet.

I have worked at 4 veterinary hospitals around the nation and during this time, worked with over 80 veterinarians and hundreds of staff ranging from kennel help to hospital owners. Silver Lakes Animal Hospital ranks among the very best when it comes to friendliness, knowledge and experience, though the practice is small, it provides a very home like feel where clients are treated as family. I will continue to bring my pets here and encourage not only Pembroke Pines residents but, all surrounding towns and counties to bring their loved ones. Amazing! I've had my fair shares of vets and Dr. Kuhn is by far the best! She is so patience and good with dogs. I've had the puppy nightmare, my pup has had all sorts of things and she always one phone call away with the best solution. Awesome staff as well, compliments to Dr. Kuhn!

Our sweet cat declined suddenly today. It was time to say goodbye. We called our normal vet Pines West animal hospital and were not helpful and couldn’t get us in during this emergent, difficult time. I like them. My dog was non stop bleeding out of her butt and they prescribed her the proper medication to get better. Really appreciated the follow up contact. Will be returning to get her vaccines
