New Berlin Soap Box Derby

This is a fantastic organization that runs a race on the first Sunday after Labor Day each year, including a special race for special children, where a Boy Scout troop,assists the commission in running a race for handicapped children with a Boy Scout riding in each car as a safety observer.

The New Berlin Soap Box Derby runs annually, the Sunday after Labor Day. It is a day long event, starting at 7 am and finishing at 5 pm. Generally, the weather is accommodating. The Derby is run by an all-volunteer crew working year round, for the benefit of New Berlin's youth. It's an amazing organization.

Lot of fun. Loner cars for kids to run if needed. Otherwise working on the car with the whole family is worth all the work building the cars. I've never seen anything like it. Everyone is very helpful and accommodating.
