Golden Axe Throwing and Bar

Throughly enjoyed our experience here. It was super chill and fun. The axepert was informative and very nice. It was our first axe throwing experience, but it was so easy to pick up. Very glad to have chose this place. It's super clean and the axe aesthetic is phenomenal. Definitely going to go again.

Great time. Ping pong, pool and more. And of course ax throwing 👍🏼👍🏼 so much fun. Great staff and friendly service. Prices were reasonable. No kids a plus. Great date night fun.

Love this place, it was fun. The drinks were great too and the food. And place gets busy and theirs pool tables too down stairs and the staff are awesome.

This place freaking ROCKS!! We’ve been waiting for something as cool as this to come to salt lake. This place is way different than any other axe throwing place I’ve ever been to, it has so much personality and a great atmosphere. The decorations and designs are on point!

To all the girls: be prepared to take a million pictures in their bathroom, SO COOL!

Super fun place. Great friendly staff who were great at educating on range safety and throwing techniques. Cool interior designing and awesome free games available downstairs. We ended up spending two hours longer than expected just hanging out. Not often you can drink with your friends in a ball pit 😜

Great place to throw some axe's! The staff was super helpful and friendly! They were busy and had reservations but they still managed to get us a lane as walk-ins. Nice little selection of beer and liquor. Definitely check this place out, you won't be disappointed!

Justin was awesome! Our original time got messed up due to a computer glitch. He worked with us to get another one set up. It was a perfect ending to a bad day at work for my boyfriend. Time for some axe throwing to release some frustration and adult beverages for his bday! Mike at the bar was super friendly! Will definitely be going back and bringing friends next time!

Great fun place! The axe throwing is fun, easy computer scoring, great friendly service, and great music :). Fun date or group night out.

The staff was helpful and fun. They made safety and priority and had clear procedures in place that all participants were briefed on multiple times (big plus). The bar had great beers on tap and selection of other drinks.
Restrooms were clean. Overall excellent atmosphere.

The staff were so friendly and helped me and my friend with our axe throwing techniques. The bartenders were absolute gems. The drinks they made were really enjoyable. The basement was a hoot, we played pool, Nintendo 64, and got to listen to a live show. Will def be back!

The people here were amazing. We got to try some great house cocktails, play ping pong, pool, curling, video games if we wanted, and best of all we got to throw axes. I was awful, but it was a fun and lively atmosphere even on a weeknight I would definitely recommend if you like games with your drinks!

Went here last night, we had a blast! It was our first time going axe throwing and we will definitely be coming back. Employees were very helpful showing us different ways to throw and the drinks were very reasonably priced. Would recommend this place to anyone who has wanted to try out axe throwing!

What a great evening. The music overhead was an awesome collection from the 90s and 2000's. The atmosphere was charged with fun as we threw axes to score points. They have a full bar in place and a good selection of beers and ciders. Safety precautions for COVID were being adhered to and it was refreshing to feel a little normalcy again with friends as we laughed, drank and cheered each other on with each throw.

Golden Axe was awesome! The management was super chill and the throwing lanes were great. It was an awesome date night and way more fun than I expected. You can buy drinks there and bring in your own food, so grab some pizza and go! You won't regret it

Had a wonderful time! Our “axepert” Josh was great at helping our group learn a few different throws. Good local beer representation and fun cocktails. Not a lot of seating which wasn’t a problem for my group but could be with a larger group or when it gets busier.

This was a very fun time. The staff was incredibly helpful and stuck around until you felt you had a handle on things. The food was served fresh and I enjoyed the different sauces available. If you're looking to have a fun competition for a night out, definitely give this place a shot.

We loved Golden Axe! The axe throwing was a blast and the drinks were great! We went for our anniversary and it was totally worth it! Cost was $40 for the two of us for a little over an hour and was definitely lots of fun. We will for sure be going back and taking our friends with us!

Our first axe throwing experience and we’re so glad it was at Golden Axe! The venue was accessible, comfortable, and had great music. Drinks were great. The best part was the customer service though, Justin and the rest of the guys were awesome. 10/10 recommend - we’ll be back for sure.

These guys are amazing! They're very kind and patient. We've had Hunter as our instructor, he was a great teacher. Be sure to check out the downstairs where they have billiards, ping pong, darts, and get this.... a ball pit!!!! What a great date night.
