Holt Park

It's a nice green space in an semi urban setting. It's not much more that a series of walking paths. It's maintained so that you aren't walking through tall grass. Not much parking on the neighborhood street.

Has about 5 "trailheads" to get in. Doesn't look like they have been groomed for awhile. Watch out for poison ivy hiding the the grasses if you venture inside.

It's a pretty wild patch of woods, so watch out for poison ivy, and ticks. But it was peaceful, and nice to walk around.

Nice conservation area with a lot of fresh wildlife tracks visible during the winter. No real good entrance or exit from the park and most trails lead to dead ends behind people's houses.

Despite plans to make the north end of the park into a dog park being on the table for decades, the area remains undeveloped and under utilized. Still, it is a nice area to relax in.

Thriving urban park.
